the Foster family deserves a lot of curedit also. the Patience they displayed while it took Darcy a week to gradually trust them. and then blossomed into her potential. Love & trust in any order, followed by happiness > contentment.for both dogs & humans. the bond when two become one

Look at Darcy's sweet face. It exudes kindness and gentleness. Happy and grateful. She knows who saved her and her babies. I'm in the same boat as a lot of you in here. Crappy health and space is a fly in my ointment. I have a dog and a cat, both rescues and the loves of my life. I have a very small fenced back yard which is almost unheard of for an apartment. It gives my Min Pin just enough room to get crazy with the zoomies. 🤗 God bless all the pet lovers that gave this fur family the help they needed as well as all pet lovers around the world. ❤
This is the Reader's Digest version of my cat's rescue story. We're pretty sure Lucy was left behind by a tenant that moved. 😠 She was so skinny, skrawny and mistrustful. You should see her now. She's got some Maine coon in her so she's a very big and VERY furry girl. She was so skinny that I figured she was like any other run-of-the- mill house cat. She's healthy and happy now. I was tickled pink the first time she let me rub her belly. lol My favorite breed of any animal is a rescue. ❤

I have volunteered in rescue and foster for years and these cases happens so often.
Please spay and neuter your pets. I have seen cases in so many countries are there are no spay and neuter programs and dogs simply breed and then wander the streets until they starve or hit by a car.
Please do what you can to support your local rescues. Volunteer, even if just for a few hours a week. It will change your life. ❤

I just foster failed for the first time Friday. Was supposed to get this 8 month puppy because the fosters who had him were moving. He was super scared, super shy. In three days, he’s glued to me. Anywhere I go, he goes. Lol
