Your the best teacher of all time!!!!!!! I was getting D’s and C’s on my earth science grades and now I bought your subscription and kept watching your videos and I am doing practice regents and I’m getting 90,s and I did lab practical today and I don’t think I got a question wrong. I watched your video with my friends and they all understood better and faster!! Thanks for taking your time on us. I just don’t understand the suns path. Please explain Mr. Gazda I really need help.
Thanks Brandon! I'm so glad the videos are helping you. As far as the sun's path, have you watched the Sun's Path video in my course? (in the "Seasons" unit, it's "Part 3: Sun's Path". I recommend watching Part 1: Seasons and Earth's Orbit and Part 2: Sun's Shadow along with it.) You may have to watch it more than once - Sun's Path is definitely a tough unit and kids struggle with it every year, just know that. It's a difficult topic to teach for sure, but over the years I've refined my lessons and I think the video does a good job of explaining it fairly succinctly.
Thx sir, I have my regents lab tomorrow and I’m doing some last minute studying and in so glad that I found your channel. Please continue making your videos.
Thank you so much for these videos Mr. Gazda! The explanations in my class for review were confusing and I came upon your channel when looking up videos and it has and is helping me a lot! You're amazing!
Aren't you supposed to keep the pencil in the same small hole. First you did it in the 1st hole , then did it on the second hole ans the last one you did it in the 1st hole again.
Taking mine tomorrow too. Hope you guys did well! Also I have a question, was it just rock identification, mineral identification, locating epicenters, and ellipses? No surprises?
the original number was 10 seconds. Since you cannot take 50 away from 10 I had to borrow. I borrowed from the minutes column - I borrowed 1 minute which is 60 seconds. So I added 60 seconds to 10 seconds which equals 70 seconds.
Sorry Suzy, but it's not the fastest time. 4:13:10 is the latestarrival time (and therefore the larger number of the two). The fastest time would be the wave that arrived at the station FIRST, which for this problem would be 4:10:50.

This was excellent, but I wish you stopped the speed when doing it on the distance lines. I'm not good at it.

Is it just me or do most Earth Science teachers do nothing but give labs then try to actually teach at the end of the year?

Same questions every year?

I wish I could speed up time... I have to do this all in 9 minutes for the actual exam.
Almost all of my students finish within the 9 minutes, so unless you're a really slow test taker I wouldn't stress about it.
How is 4:13:10 the biggest number ?
ky ky i’m late, but i believe it’s because it’s the fastest time
it represents 4 hrs 13 in and 10 seconds, which is a "bigger" number than 4 hrs 10 mins and 50 secs.
