I'm actually surprised this time prior to your 50% volume test the Tribit sounded louder and had more bass but in a full volume test it seems to be the complete opposite and JBL excels at playing the lower bass frequencies.
I agree, but the JBL Boombox 2 is $300 more. For that price you can buy two Tribit Blast, pair them together and still pay $100 less. Plus you can increase the bass via tribit custom app
@@robynrobison4050 Tribit is better doesn't mean the JBL can do deeper bass so it wins out. JBL has less bass for lower volume listening and after 70% bass starts to decrease. While on the Tribit you get more bass for lower levels and even at higher levels. The JBL also have a V-shaped tuning which recesses mids whereas the vocals on Tribit feels more pronounced. Overall Tibit is more musical and bassy to my ears so I'll pick it up over the JBL anyway.
And yeah with the 9 band EQ it has the potential to even out the peaks & dips and change the sound completely...I consider the Tribit to be on another level
In my opinion Tribit is way better because of its price point ... Also Sound is much better .. surely it doesn't have the Booming type bass of the Boombox but Tribit ain't far when it comes to bass .. the Punch is there and also the Clarity is outstanding ...
I can even push the bass in my smartphone EQ and i tell you the tribit is a monster, ofc not at 100% volume. But the bass sounds strong as a normal subwoofer which is crazy
I know it your opinion but the blast has worse mids due to it being more v shaped than the jbl the app is pretty buggy to even deeper bass you need to reduce the mids and highs for the price it's a good speaker but it ain't no jbl boombox killer as people make it out to be.

The price difference says it all and Boombox 2's tuning is too flat for outdoor uses.. outdoors you need more highs to overcome those muddiness the Boombox 2 has and also Boombox 2 only puts out deep bass outdoors which is unusable because of environment noises .. decent balance of sound is what you need outdoors and that's what Blast gives .. I respect your opinion tho

jbl bass is also ok, the case is heavy, the price is also heavy, then it's boring to look at, it doesn't even have the best design, unlike the tribit Blast which has a more modern design, you can really dance when you use it at a party, and besides, it's cheaper price and also lighter weight
It just amazing how damn close Tribit can get for less than half the price! It does seem that the JBL does retain a little more of the deep bass at 100% volume though. Does the Tribit have any headroom to EQ some low bass back in?
@@earljohnpearson7282 I was wondering about headroom, not the app to EQ it. You can add all the bass you want with an EQ but if there is no headroom at max volume it will just compress or distort.
BB2 S more Bassy....more powerful.....tribil is also clearwith good bass..but BB2 s better.....even the materials being used..BB2 s more tough with moredurable rigid plastic than can stand more falls compare to Tribit.
Parehas na solid, depende nlng sa hearing preferrence ng nakikinig. For me kasi if trip ko mag play ng music like Edm's i would go for jbl boombox coz of its deeper bass sound syempre specialty ng jbl yan eh pero if trip ko mag karaoke or play ng mga music na pang vocal I would choose tribit blast kasi mas clear yung vocals nia at mas high pitch ung sound. When it comes sa price panalong panalo na ung tribit blast. My only issue nga lang kapag more on high pitch ung sound mas mabilis akong maumay makinig kasi pag tagal nakakairita na sa tenga unlike the other one na mas balance opinion ko lng nman hehe.

@@legendaryblood1937 they are both 50hz to 20khz for frequency response and bb1 has been tested to go deeper to around 40hz to 30hz. That's the depth, being a punchy bass and too loud bass is a different thing. And if the bass is a bit too loud, it's not good.
@@jcmante2277 down to 40 to 30 hz? Who tested that? As far as I know is the Boombox 1 with all its version .. its frequency response will only go down to a hearable 48 hz .. below that is just upper bass being produced by the passive radiator so it feels like it is a sub bass which it isn't ..
