I think there is a giant mismatch of brainpower and emotional intelligence here, which leads to a fruitless discussion.
The fruit that is bore from these conversation is learning just how deep the brainwashing of women goes.

Andrew is a good guy, I definitely see that. That being said, it’s clear that he consistently puts forward an argument designed to hit an emotional button, and simultaneously contain some more subtle, but empirically irrefutable claim that he knows will not be perceived by the 85 IQ person he’s talking to.
He gets the dumbbell across from him to react to the shiny emotional bait, and then marches his central point past the goalpost unassailed. It’s fun to watch for a bit, but it is shooting fish in a barrel.

I think Andrew's point is an important one. As a history guy, I'm not aware of any societies anywhere at any time in history that were definitively, conclusively and indisputably matriarchal. Men have, in many cases, created patriarchal societies in which womens' rights have been taken away. As a person that strongly supports equality and a democratic system which gives everyone a voice and the ability to play a role in the fate of their nation, I think that shaking our heads and ignoring him because he sounds like he's saying women aren't important is probably the best way possibly to perpetuate the very issues this woman claims to be fighting against. He isn't saying that women shouldn't have rights. He's saying that, throughout history, few civilizations have respected human rights, and that brutal regimes like the Nazis and North Korea and apartheid South Africa continued to function even as they trampled on and abused their citizens. We have to be vigilant in protecting our rights, because they can easily be taken away, and we may or may not be able to get them back. Denial is the tyrant's best friend.

@@robinsss This isn't an argument. Women tend to vote liberal, and liberal policies are exactly what led to the worst outcomes for Americans. That's like if I said "do you know how many single moms there are in America" as if to imply that's a good thing. It's not. Single mothers are the worst condition for homes, and female leadership is extremely ineffective. Just because something is common, it doesn't mean it's good. You have to actually prove that having more female leadership has made things better, which is impossible. Female leadership is an illusion anyway because all women appeal to men for enforcement anyway, so it's all just a facade.

A nurse is an EXTRA job to charge more money and make doctors job easier. If there were no nurses doctors would still function basically the same. They would have to take temperatures, give shots, etc but they could and would do their jobs just fine.

Happiness is NOT essential for societies to function, there are a multitude of societies today and throughout history where majority 0f people are not happy, despite this these societies (to an extent at least) have law and order, a working economy and infrastructure and the people themselves have jobs, farms, shelter and a means to provide for themselves and their families, they're not happy but they don't go against their leadership, one of the reasons is simply that they see no reason to they're content with what they have, the view that freedom and happiness are essential comes from an American/western POV, understandable given that those things are core values of your nation, but don't expect other nations to fall Apart just because they don't follow your example, it's that kind of arrogance that give you lot a bad rap

Women's roles traditionally were the nurturers. I disagree with Andrew on the part about women not being needed for support roles. Men might be able to do it, but it would be highly inefficient when the men are more suited for the heavy lifting, metaphorically and physically. Men and women need each other. The issue is feminists have upended the social order to the detriment of women and we are still trying to find that new equilibrium.
Support roles in th economy. All women could stay home with the kids and be home makers. Society would fucking rule.

Women are specialized to create and nurture life. Birthing and caring for children. Obviously that's not the only thing women can do in society, but that's why they have the body-shape, instincts, temperament etc they do. It's so they can also perform a specific and indispensable task. They're not optimized for survival-based tasks. Trying to insult men or women as a group and say they're evil, useless etc is just bad and toxic behavior. Don't get involved in it, it may make you feel good for a second, but ultimately it's empty and negative and will make you rotten inside.

Iran is a good example of what Andrew's talking about. When the Shah abdicated Ayatollah Khomeini took over in an Islamic Republic. All the western rights women had become accustomed to were removed effectively making them second-class citizens, with dress codes and the like. While we may not like Iran it functions just fine without women.
Women in the Western world, were second class citizens and that society did function fine. Precedent - life before the women winning the vote. Laws - women classified as chattels. The governments and sustaining the comfort experienced by women, were the outcome of men working in the position to ensure society's infrastructure was functorial.
