⚠️ [ Read Description ] I am not dead, uploads will continue. This video was rushed, please keep that in mind. Needed to say goodbye to my favorite videogame franchise of all time. This is my LittleBigPlanet tribute video, in attempt to sum up its history and last fight to stay. It's been a long 17 years and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it with all of you. If you’re feeling it, check out my LittleBigPlanet Funny Moments series on my YT channel. 5+ years archiving our best memories because I unfortunately knew this day would come. Long live LBP. ❤
When i was a kid, i caught a baseball at a game but i wasn't a huge sports fan. So, i sent the ball to Media Molecule over in England. Imagine my surprise when they sent it back through Royal Mail with signatures from the entire team that I recognized from LBP1's opening cresits. Over time, the marker they used faded. Nowadays you can barely make out what the names are. It looks like the world of LittleBigPlanet itself is fading out too. But I know how the ball used to look, and it'll take me back to the levels my family would make together. I think that's probably why I'm hesitant to trash the PS3 that no longer can stay on without power cycling a minute in. Worlds are still in there.
This is not fair, LBP is literally THE BEST game series of all time, why are they taking it away from us? This game is my childhood, i don't want it to die
normally what you said would be considered an opinion, but it really isnt an opinion. its just the best game. even if you dont like it, its undeniably well put together and thought out.
I’m a grown ass man, I remember playing 1 -3 when it came out it and playing it when I was a kid. Man I wonder what it would’ve been like without this franchise. I really miss this game.
@@Private-Joker_34no way, I was 4 and I’m 20 now. Love this game so so much. I thought no one at school played this. But I still loved it, and always will love it forever.

Man, this is a tragedy on a scale that I feel many people probably aren't aware of. Little Big Planet truly was some special. There really wasn't nor isn't any game even remotely similar to Little big Planet. This game was such a huge part of my childhood, and even taught me things and helped me tune with my creativity. This game was such a fun and grand experience. Very upsetting that it is now becoming mere history. Very glad I ran into you Joker, you and your buds and given me so many great memories and experiences. I had a lot of fun with you guys! Hopefully we can find other ways to make more of these. Thank you for bringing me along with you on your LBP Adventures. With that being said, Farewell Little Big Planet.
Absolutely heart broken at the state of LBP. This video was beautifully done. It invoked so many emotions for me.. the usage of Kids by MGMT just made this so much more gut wrenching. I will forever be so very thankful for LittleBigPlanet for being a part of my life. I’m on the spectrum & it became one of my special interests, so this hits even harder than it should.
I grew up with parents who heavily restricted me creatively, making me really put off from doing anything when it came to that kind of stuff. Then I started playing LittleBigPlanet, and it felt like a whole world opened up to me. I felt like there was more to life than financial and public success. It's been 10 years since I started playing this series, I'm in my senior year of high school, I'm taking AP art classes, and I've been in three mainstage performances. LittleBigPlanet raised me and made me the person that I am today, and I will never forget what impact it had on me. R.I.P. LittleBigPlanet.
you might think hes overreacting how fun it was, no i joined the community in like 2016 well after lbp3 was released, and boy let me tell you, even back then without wifi to go on servers, it was still fun and made me cry, and then when i got wifi to go on the servers, you can guess what happened after that. infinite source of fun and creativity.
This video would’ve not been possible without you. Thank you for your years of hard work archiving and preserving LittleBigPlanet’s creations. Respect.🫡❤️
Let's not be sad that it's over, but grateful to Media Molecule, Sumo Digital, Tarsier Studios, Double Eleven, and United Front Games for all they've done for this series and our childhoods.
Ok so as a kid I was a Nintendo fan, but since my mom owned a PS3, LBP 1 was the first game I ever played on it, I unfortunately never played the main story but I still can since I still have the game and a PS3. I have played the racing game, but I did not own it, I just had the demo, I also don’t own LBP 2 but I DO own LBP 3, and I have more memories of the 3rd game, this genuinely makes me very sad that LBP is no more, since 2008 it was Sony’s cash cow, the PlayStation mascot, pretty much any gamer who owned a ps3 and wanted something new or had kid owned LBP. Now we have Sackboy A Big Adventure, I’m playing it at the moment and it’s fun, I love it, but it just doesn’t have the spark the older games had, ever since this game, the LBP server hacking incident, and Astro’s popularity risen, it seems as that LBP was doomed from the start But no matter what, no matter how old I am or how old the game is, it’ll always have a special meaning place in my heart, this game made me love PlayStation, and, sadly, this game isn’t relevant anymore, but hey, as long as we have physical copies of the games and videos of it online, the memories will never fade away… Thank you Little Big Planet…
This seriously makes me emotional man. No other game, no other ANYTHING has impacted me more than this game. Countless memories made on it since I was in preschool. Now, being an adult and seeing my childhood game die this way is so heartbreaking. Even though this is looking to be a depressing end to LittleBigPlanet, I’m just so happy I was able to make those memories as a kid. This game really made me who I am and I’ll always be thankful. This is also a really great video, subscribed. ❤
Its just sad that my favorite game just had to fade away in front of me and everyone, and it was my childhood and teached me some things and also how to make friends... Now the new generation is bad... And i almost got depression from the game shutting down bro...
I remember when i was so young i could barely walk, and booting up OG LBP for the first time. I never liked the first one, even for me then it felt off-putting and lacking in features. But they 3 years later #2 came out, ane i was inlove with that for YEARS. Its amazing how 3ish years back then felt like an eternity, and how fast it goes by as i get older. Lbp3 was the downfall for me, but i miss it. I wanted to go back and reexperience that, but at that point the end was near. And the servers had already been down for months. I miss you lbp, you shaped who i became.
LBP was the only Playstation exclusive that ever really caught my attention while growing up. (Not counting Crash Bandicoot or Twisted Metal 1 because those had already hit their stride and were dying down a bit by the time I was born.) And I think LBP is still the only Sony series I've ever held any real, true fondness for. If my older brother had never asked for a PS3 then I don't think I ever would've played it, because there's no way I'd buy or ask for a console for just one game. But by god, LBP meant so much to me, and was such a huge and influential part of my childhood development. It really meant so much to me. Rest in peace, LBP. The only solace I really have is that I know how questionable the reception to Sony has been as of late, so at least LBP and its community could take Sony down with them, in a sense. Still, it's a cold comfort. Stop ignoring the children. The kids need a place to play, too.
Just seeing all those montages of littlebigplanet is intensely heart-warming and pure nostalgic making me miss this game even more because of how great it was and now it's gone, Playstation wouldn't be the same without this game being around sometimes
It’s sad to see you’re favorite game just go away all of a sudden after all the good days you’ve done before and hanging out with friends there just vanish away just like that 😭
Had a lot of fun with these games and old Minecraft. I still wonder where my friends from then are today and what they're doing. Those games hold a special place in my heart.
The song choice is excellent; I've heard the community-made LBP version in game so many times lol. Excellent video, long live the memories we've had of the game 🫡
with that everything amazing eventually comes to ends, dont be sad its over, be happy it happend and because of the memorys and expierience u had, RIP servers and screw sony forgetting how great it all was
Absolute masterpiece of a video and of a game series. The game and the official servers may have died but the memories and the love never will. Love you LBP. ♥
The franchise that simply carried the PS3 on its back was completely ungrateful to Sony. I know they keep adding Sackboy as a reference in other games, but it's not the same thing. It's a shame how they didn't want to do anything else with LBP along with the other incredible franchises that Sony has. But, they prefer to make a movie in game format because gameplay is nothing to them.
i remember playing these games all the time, i especially remember playing LBP2 daily, i would play it in the morning, even at midnight. I've even got trophies for spending 200 hours on game bro. I legit got goosebumps when Stephen fry spoke at the end. i will really miss this nostalgic franchise man.
That is the saddest video I ever seen. I literally cried. I can’t even believe is that happened. And yeah… that’s all. I can’t say more. Say goodbye to your sackperson, community levels, friends and your favourite game. See ya
There was a glitch/hack in LBP2. Someone had managed to get the Pod as an object in a custom level, providing it to others via a prize bubble. You could place it into your own moon and add level editor assets to it. Then, if you saved it in a certain way, you could go back to your Pod and load the saved version w/ moon stuff in from the home screen. So I'm guessing they flipped it by adding rockets onto it.
Lbp5 will be coming for the PS5 I'm pretty dang sure they are working on it if you don't think so you are dead wrong if you wanna play lbp3 you can mod your PS3 like I did and it was easy now I have lbp3 refresh mod
