Jordi ,I also own a 95 LS 400, 185,000 miles and you're correct. It is a true luxury beast. I'm already looking for an LS 430 to see how different they are. Can't see how much better it could be than the 400.
3:27 You can. Just remove the fender liner or roll the fenders. On the clearance, Take it at an angle, you won't scrape. If you take it head on, you will scrape because of the sedan's long body.
Hi there, thank you for your effort to make the video along with your explanation. Kindly is it possible to explain the details about the data Controller how to use it ? Because I don’t have the manual how to use it. Much appreciated Sam
So you can slam/lower the car on oem suspension/ aka bags😲 And i was thinking about buying coilovers lol. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. I don't know about these cars, but this might be my next car. Looking at gs430, this car, 540i. Leaning toward this car. I prefer the black vip bippu low look, limo tints, sporty wheels or dish but not big ghetto wheels.
What’s up mister first want to say thank you and the people that made that controller should cut you a check second I found them brand new on eBay 300 bucks do I have to order anything else or just the controller if I do can u give me a part number to other part thanks again
Ray More You're welcome. You will need to get the correct wiring harness specific to your vehicle's year, make, and model. This harness is plug-n-play, and hooks up to your vehicle's ECU.
does lexus ls400 2003 comes with air suspension from factory or you have to install this package? I know someone is selling it their comes with the air suspension package ....
Hey man, not sure about the LS430, but my '99 400 has a switch next to the gear selector to raise the car. Does this work with the air sus controller? So lets say you got it lowered with the controller, does the switch raise it? (ls400 only has "normal" and "high") Let me know, I want to try aftermarket shocks on oem air system. thx
Yes, the switch still raises the car slightly. With an aftermarket air suspension controller, you'll want to stick to the controller for lowering and raising purposes. If you plan to get one for your ls400, make sure the unit comes with the correct harness.
Thanks for the quick reply. I am currently looking at 3 models... And me thinking there was just one type lol... "Data system 65X-A", "Data system ASE663/662" (with manual I probable cannot read) and the last one only say's "R-spec" but is probable data system aswell. The all look different but they are all supposed to be for LS400. To tell you a bit more, I am going to make things difficult for my self. I want aftermarket bags that can be lowered like coilovers, on the factory system. But I need the air sus controller because the car wants to blow up the bags because I mechanically lower the car. I hope the button on the car will raise it enough for speed bumps. :)
The ASC Data System Controller comes with the Unit shown and wiring harness. It fits directly to the factor OEM Suspension Controller Module (You need to Remove the Glove Compartment box to do fix it)
@@kirkking2080 I don't know because the schematics is for the Body of the LS430 / Celsior. If this is the same plug on the Harness I would give a try. Maybe search on ebay or ask to some sellers.

same schematics, same wires don't worry. Be carefull to select the one for LS430 or Celsior because harness are different between cars but this is the same for LS430 / Celsior whatever the year.
Behind the glove box there is a lot of cable / wires and many plugs. All the plugs for the air suspension are here. You disassemble the glove box to access to them, then unplugged the oem cable to plug the ASC680 harness on it. Then the common location for the device is in the glove box but that's a really bad location lol.
hey man hope you see this, stock bags still holding up? i want to pick one of these up since you can get them for a good price.
Thank you🤗 for the information love from Dubai UAE.
Beautiful LS430😘😘🤩

Very informative, however i do have one question. Does this controller override the OEM adjusting switch installed at factory? Thanks.
Seems like it, just picked up an 04 crown majesta (same car underneath) with one of these controllers, and the switch doesn’t change anything now

I have a 2002 lexus ls430 ultra luxury addition, will it work?
Considering buying 06 LS430 Premium w/63K miles on it..Any idea when factory recommends replacing the struts?
Does it change the quality of ride?
It can get bouncy if you set it too low. A modesto 1 to 2 inch drop will still be a comfortable ride
When I shut the car off the heights are different? Any ideas?
@siphanracing do you kno the correct wire harness part number for the 02 LS430?
