How many permutations of video can this series have? Many. But here we are, the most convenient one of all, with the ability to skip ahead and then back again! The excitement! You kids behave yourselves while I'm on my holidays, OK?

What I love best about this series is that Rosamund subverts the 'romance' plot from a potentially steamy vanilla porn-ish thing--which would make Caroline more uncomfortable than she expected--into a real marriage. Even before the hinted consummation, Leo and Rosy are acting as a team, making peace, protecting the children, etc!

Wow what a ride!!! I had seen a few of these independently but didn’t realize until I saw the wedding plan out of context that there was Plot! I got so invested in everyone! It really is interesting how characters can have a life of their own, and how there is this interesting dynamic as a writer of “oh ho ho ho this is so deliciously angsty or romantic or full of miscommunication and unsaid things”. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story and am even more motivated to get the book now. I mean, I planned to when I had just seen a few of the early videos on their own which speaks to your strength as a writer and to the strength of your execution of the concept! I think my favorite parts were Rosamund’s nice hair part, Bad Choices Arc, and The Writer realizing Rosamund isn’t over Hugo. I loved the masquerade as an example of all these bits of believability and realism interfering with tropes that, while I would have definitely enjoyed them, I was even more interested in the twists you introduced. Just watched this again (for I'm not gonna admit the how many'th time) and I have to say that while I will absolutely be purchasing and reading the novel once it's available, there is an incredible charm to this format that is all its own, and I will definitely keep coming back to it again and again. Jill, thank you so much for creating this!

Just picked up Just Stab Me Now from my local library. I was so happy not only that they had it but that others had it on hold before me! So looking forward to reading it.

I've loved this series! It's honestly made the seamless transition between funny, fourth wall redecorating writing humor to a gripping little romantic political thriller (that still has the fun writer/character banter). I'd love to keep an eye out if you ever do actually write a sequel series, but I think this does really well standing on its own.

    UA-cam.
Suggesting a "short" video of 42 minutes :D
Thanks for sharing, fiction is something that is missing on UA-cam, and good fictions are even less frequent!

I love the fantasy heroine series and also the format - UA-cam shorts are great to be consumed during a quick recreational break and when there is more time you can watch the whole series and enjoy all the small details that might have been overlooked the first time.
Also you are fantastic at stringing together all these tropes.
Can't wait to see the next season.

Having watched this entire series 4 times now (ngl, I watched the entire thing through twice as shorts), I gotta admit that as it gets longer and the compilations get longer, it just keeps getting better and better and better.
The expanding lore is fantastic, the character interactions are dynamic and real, and the voice of the author is strong. I'm so excited to get more of this stuff from you 8n this series in the new year.
    Have a wonderful holiday break!
