dont know if thats just me..but if you watch him from 2014 till 2018 he barely changed anything in his Stand Up...and only with Cadence alone u wont get the "normal" Audience, thats why he thought he wasnt getting anywhere..wich is totaly wrong..so sad-.---but in the End it matters..cause them "normal " Ppl will buy Merch and Stuff from you...so yeah maybe he just needed some new Material..

I hear the complaint that those of us who don't see him as funny just don't get it - but I've yet to see any crowd he worked like his stand up. So please, if you can, give me a few comic examples you think are killer funny that somehow went over nearly everyone's else's head.
I said that because it is one of his catch phrases. He is just a sort of eccentric, tragic, relateable sort of character with a fragile ego and persecution complex that is trying hard to survive and make the best of his life despite his troubles. It's a combination of him being funny and just liking him. That's what it's like for me.
@@tadficuscactus He was definitely likable - and courageous as Hell. He clearly fought hard against very steep odds to become a comic. And the professional community he was a part of thought the world of the man. For him, I just wish he had been funnier.
