The written pattern can be found on my blog.. dearestdebi.com/crochet-window... Video Minutes.. Supplies 00:25 Foundation Instructions: 00:38 Row 5: 01:20 Row 6: 03:17 Row 7: 05:01 Row 8: 07:37
Such a pretty design...thank you for sharing with us all! I did make a rather time consuming error in Row 7. I decided to mention it here in the event someone else does the same. I worked Row 7 (Pink flowers) through Row 6 (white in video) AND into Row 5 (Green color). It became apparent very quickly in trying to commence Row 8 that I should have only worked the "flowers" yarn Row 7 into the Row 5 (green ONLY), leaving Row 6 free-falling (white) on the reverse/back side, which is essential to working Row 8. My description is probably clear as mud, but obviously I'm somewhat challenged...even with a video providing step-by-step instructions! hahaha
Love the pattern. Thank you for just demonstrating the pattern. There are too many videos where each stitch is demonstrated. Most people dont need to know how to do a slip stitch, double crochet or foundation row. And if they do there are hundreds of videos for that. Thanks for not wasting my time. Cant wait to try this!
I am so thankful also to see this pattern and you teach so well. When I originally found it on Pinterest it was in a foreign language. Your work is lovely.
Thank you for showing me how to make this beautiful design!!! I used it for a Afghan border :) I’m so grateful to have been able to use your video as my guide and felt compelled to comment and let you know how much people like me appreciate your video! Happy hookin’
Thank you it is a real sweet pattern. I just bought green, pink and white yarn and half way through my first granny square i didnt liked my new project. Your tutorial is easy to follow for non native speakers. Thank you Thank you and have a blessed day😊💕🧶
This pattern was a little bit of a challenge for me as a beginner crocheter bcuz I used it to make an Easter basket so I didn't turn my work which I quickly realized I had to cut off my yarn but I also needed to be sure to work on the same side as you explained . Thank you for your easy to follow instructions. My basket isn't finished yet but I know it's going to be amazing.
I watched this video and looked at alot of your thumbnails and you take crochet to a whole new level. Your work reminds me of alot of stuff like my late grandma worked. She was awesome. Haven't seen any work quite as good as hers was but you're pretty close and I haven't said that to anyone. Don't get me wrong and I'm not biased in any way everyone I'm subbed to are excellent crochet artist but she was exceptional. She taught me some when I was little but I was a busy kid and didn't stick to it, lol. Now I regret it cz I'm nowhere good, lol. I get by but that's all I can say 😹. Tyfs God bless you
Thank you for sharing this pattern. I am making blankets for our local SPCA and am constantly looking for different ideas. I chose this pattern thinking it might comfort and sooth the fears of cats being brought to the shelter. And in the hope that maybe, just maybe, when people come and see the cats, they might view them as household pets in need of a forever home. People need to spay and neuter their animals instead of simply handing them over to the SPCA and forget about the overpopulation they have created. Thank you again COCO for your generosity. Perth, Ontario, Canada
Dearest Debbie I fell in love with this pattern a few years ago, the problem with it is others love it more. I crochet blankets and this pattern is always asked for. I learnt from your video, so thank you so very much.❤
Muchas Gracias es una hermosísima puntada, ya la hice para una chambrita de bebé le quedó Hermosa. muchas gracias desde Xalapa Veracruz México. Dios te bendiga. Un abrazo
I llike this pattern a lot, it's so pretty and I can use it to make a nice summer shawl to keep in the office for summer... I some time get cold and I do need something cute to keep me warm at home, office, movie theater, etc. Thank you the video and just got a new subscriber! =)
This is so precious. I know this has been around awhile I haven't worked this one and I have county Fair projects on my mind. I may have to make this for the Fair. I like to look for different patterns or something they might not have seen. Love it! Already thinking of colors.
Don’t know if someone already mentioned this, but in Row 8 on your printed Ravelry pattern, it says to make 2 “SC” in the chain 3 sp from Row 6. Here, in the video, you are saying to make 2 HDC in the chain 3 space.

This is beautiful! Thank you so much! Was just wanting to double check, you start with a chain of 33 and then do 2 rows of single crochet before starting the v stitch? I'm making this for my baby due in November! :)
BEAUTIFUL!!! I love this pattern. I’d love to make it for my soon to be great-great niece. I followed the link to the written pattern but was unable to download. I read the comments and found others had same problem. I did look for the pink download arrow but could not find it. I couldn’t make comments to ask in that link. Can you please advise. Much thanks in advance! 🥰
I’m trying to work this stitch into my round piece of work. I haven’t attempted but I’m pondering whether or not I will need to add any chains between to account for the roundness. I’m a beginner but I feel like I’m catching on fairly quick.
You won’t really know until you try. When you are working them you want to make sure they don’t pucker or the work won’t lay flat, if it’s puckering you would need an extra stitch.
I've alway cut my yarn and refastened when changing colors because I didn't know how to bring the yarn up. How do you do this when you have about 3 -4 inches between colors? Have you a video?
The count is appears to be off on this pattern. How can it be a multiply of 3 plus 3? If you wind up with 32 single crochets are you actually chaining 33 (which is a multiple of 3) plus 3 which is ( 36 chains stitches) are you then starting in the 4th chain from the hook? BTW this is a very nice pattern. I chained 135(a multiple of 3) , plus 2 additional chains (instead of 3), & then in the 3rd chain from the hook I started my 1st single crochet and it worked out.
Do the pink shell stitch before the white one, u will end up withthe main white color on the same side to turn back. The finish look is identical with much cleaner look

Love this stitch. Will this be good for a baby blanket or will the little fingers and toes be troubled by the gaps? 😅

Hi, thank you for sharing. What do you do with the hanging extra yarn at the end of rows?
Can sew them in or make tassels. I personally knot and cut then work an edging over them.

Do the pink shell stitch before the white one, u will end up withthe main white color on the same side to turn back. The finish look is identical with much cleaner look
working it in that order would pull the flowers down, not sure how that makes it look cleaner but if it works for you kudos.
Se ve muy bonito ese puntopero apenas entiendo indicaciones
Can this stitch be used as a baby blanket border??? How would i turn a corner?? LOVE THIS STICH🌷🌷🌷
Cj W you could, I believe working 2 flowers in the corners would work. Some people work 3.
