It’s barely better than MW3. I would say the gameplay is better but the story is really fucking stupid. CIA Shirts vs Skins basically, there is no charisma in any of the characters and I know it’s call of duty but even by those standards none of this is believable. Pantheons motivations are incredibly vague and cliche. Them working in zombies into the campaign just shows they are completely out of ideas.
There’s no way people are saying this is worse than MW3. This campaign’s story is a good balance between reality and the ridiculous, something that BO3 failed doing. It’s actually something different. It executes the open-world type missions WAY better than MW3 does. Some people don’t like it, but I’m honestly very tired of the linear approach, so this is fine to me. They have to change somewhere, or else the story gets stale. We’ve seen this happen beginning with MW3 (2011), where everyone was starting to get tired of the same formulaic mission layout
@@gavcom4060 I agree they made the right call in going more outlandish for the story but the execution was terrible. Can you tell me why I should care about Pantheon? Why do they want to unleash zombie apocalypse? To control the CIA? Ok but for what? What is their end goal? What are their values? It’s all so unclear that you end up zoning out by the end of the campaign because the devs have not given you a reason to emotionally invest in the campaign.

After I saw all the campaign, what I can tell is: The gameplay is good, it's refreshing, more refined than MW3, clearly that the Call of Duty is evolved for the better. But the story is a little bit dissapointing. I thought something like this for the plot: After the event of the COD Cold War, Soviet loyalist realize that their country is destined to fall beyond saving so they try to preserve their ideals to somewhere else. And they found it: United States. Through KGB history, they manage to identify CIA agents that starting to question their morality, offering them something that they can't refuse, and for the course of 10 years, those moles slowly controlling CIA. They want to plant their ideals in the US through CIA, but their activities slowly being sniffed by Russel Adler at some point, so they try to frame him as Menendez's moles to wipe him out after Operation Just Cause in 1989. Adler manages to flee, so CIA created Pantheon, paramilitary group that solely designed for hunting down the rogue agents. Soviet having a smooth sails on their plan, but they hit a barrier, in order for them to have a direct influence on US Government, they need to take over the Director of the CIA, which at the time is on the hand of Daniel Livingstone. So, using the Craddle, they try to orchestrate a false flag operation and blame it to the Livingstone, so the government will replace him and the Soviet will offer their own candidate, Jane Harrow. In order for the false flag operation to succeed, they use Gulf War as a distraction by supporting Saddam with Craddle. Adler sniff the plan, and try to contact Woods and his team and warned him that the CIA has been compromised, leading to the start of the story of the game. It will result in a three way war between Iraqi forces who defend their homeland, Adler and Woods teams that need to track who is controlling CIA through Craddle in Iraq, and Pantheon who tagging along with coalition forces to hunt down Adler and Woods team. The war inside war, in the middle of tangled mess that we call The Gulf War. Don't trust anyone. This kind of plot that I expected.
It’s not a black ops game without some kind of mindfuckery. I don’t think Bo2 really had any say for a few brief scenes. Bo4 just didn’t have a campaign. In every other game, a character ends up tripping balls somehow.
This is exactly what makes any BO game different than MW. Comparing the two franchises is perfectly fine for me as both of them offer something different (altho we all agree MW3 is absolute dog shit by its own and not as good as this). The mindfuckey experience in BO is really awesome in ways that make you question a lot of things that you face in the games. Heck, I would dare and say that sometimes it makes you question stuff in rea life because the rabbit hole is so freaking deep in these games sometimes. It made me look on conflicts happening right now in the world, how the Cold War itself might have "officially ended" but the countries that were behind the Cold War are still active doing their things they did before.
Dude IMO BO2 was entirely mindfuckery. From the premise, the story, and the damn execution. Cherry on top that it's 2025 next year and there's a conflict in Yemen. I can say that life is imitating art. Plus Madame POTUS. BO2 is pure mindfuckery as a whole.

So her grand master plan was to have a bio-weapon set up but ONLY at her command, even if she’d been captured? Oh and even once she’d been rescued she purposefully waited until she was airborne to give the go ahead for…no reason. And finally even after being SHOT in the shoulder while boarding the helicopter she still never gave the go ahead? What was she waiting for? This is one of those endings where the only reason the villain didn’t succeed is because they are absolutely stupid. Whatever goons set up the cradle were never told to spread the gas after a certain time? Or if the capitol started to be evacuated? The go-no-go is all on the call of one woman who was CAPTURED at the time? I get that she was supposed to take over the CIA but you can activate the weapon and save her at the same time. Why wait? The only reason to wait is to give the people *you know* are on to you the chance to foil your plans. It’s just ridiculous. By all logical means the crew should have failed. They should have failed the second pantheon successfully rescued Harrow. All she had to do was say, “Thanks for the rescue boys. Now blow it.” And don’t get me started about the helicopter scene. You as the pilot just saw your VIP passenger get shot and you don’t immediately take off? The rotors already got up to speed, pull the collective. Why the rotors were EVER not spinning in a hot-zone is beyond me.(And these are supposed to be trained US and European military guys?) Oh and the crewmen decided to just leave the doors open too? However the mindfuckery missions were well..dogshit. They were too long, boring and hard I just stopped giving a fuck about Case and Jane's story. Seeing zombies in campaign(as hallucinations) is fine, but fighting them for straight two fucking hours? My head was aching at that point.
Personally I liked all of the campaign except the ending(if Case drowned). if you think about it, if Case drowned then the final qte is literally a waste of time. If you win you choke her and then die from drowning. If she wins, she chokes you and then she dies from drowning. Either way you both die. Personally they should have either showed Case getting out of the chopper, or they should have done a Ghost and Case manages to delay Harrow enough for the capitol to be evacuated, but he gets captured by Harrow in the process. This ending, if they are both dead, doesn't explore either Case's or Harrow's backstory, which is a shame considering that Case seemed to have something going in the zombies mission but then they forgot about it.
What in the black ops 3 fuckery is the last mission at?
How long is the campaign
took me 7 hours, so its longer than the last few campaigns at least

No, at 1:00:00 Marshall says that Case responded.
@@Cpt_Plimpus No he was talking about Livingstone's discovering the bioweapon and evacuating the Capitol.
@@Cpt_Plimpus Not denying your claim but you can't trust Call of Duty Bland Ops writing.

Hello
bummer the story is just like this
This storyline isn't really good. They should have done so much more with Adler and his cold war conspiracies. Didn't have to tie it to Black ops 1
Your the worst cod player oat but thank you for the videos
Bruh he wasn't that bad, wym?
I really miss those cod games... where fight a big wars not this undercover shit

@@kashmike3927 I think the story was kinda unfinished because I seen some stuff feel unfinished
@@mega_blox44yt19Probably saving for warzone story knowing them...
It is worse than MW3 I watched the whole game play and didn’t like a damn thing about it. The zombies mode looks terrible they tried to hard to copy Cold Wars success with the whole drug scene with Bell. And then tried too hard to be different from other call of duties… I had my hopes up with the whole gulf war idea because the gulf war is a forgotten war and the men/women who died in it were quickly forgotten. So I had my hopes that this game would point at the gulf war and give some honor to those who died… no this just was call of duty on drugs. And even my worst psychedelic trips that almost killed me were better then this
Bruh you fr? It was better than mw3 2023...
Again boring call of duty game.
