Decided to leave a tip for anyone who plays SC2 LotV nowadays (like me) and stumbles upon this video looking for a guide on how to get the "Adun Toridas" achievement.
I beat this mission (and also got the achievement) on Hard difficulty, btw.
One thing I found out is that, even if you clear out the Protoss and Zerg bases and establish expansions in those locations, the attack waves that come from the spaces in the walls in the Protoss and Zerg bases don't pay any attention to it. BUT, there are two-and maybe more-critical conditions on which the attack waves leave the expansions alone:
    1. Don't build static defense (Photon Canons) at the expansions. Just build a Nexus and Assimilators. The Photon Canon's attack will only pull aggro onto your expansion.
    2. Your main base (the base you start the mission at) has to be standing. So, fortify your main base with Photon Canons and use Shield Batteries for support. Plus, if the Zerg and Protoss attack waves destroy some of your Canons, then just rebuild them.
Of course, I got the achievement on Hard difficulty, and things such as whether the attack waves pull aggro onto your expansions even without static defense might be a bit different on Brutal difficulty, so I can't guarantee the tips I mentioned above will also work on Brutal. Nevertheless, I hope this helps anyone struggling.

Very helpful video, I'm much better at actually using stalkers now. One thing to note is that the warp in pylon ability has only energy/cooldown cost. This strategy makes the achievement on hard fairly easy. The nydus worms and warped in protoss are in response to you capturing main objectives, not the enemy's actual attack. On hard you can build a bunch of photon canons and shield batteries in the areas they pop up because it's always the same locations. I did this and was able to prevent the zerg from getting into my base at all and took the protoss base with with 40 or so stalkers, of course on brutal things are a bit different. I still had enough stalkers to hold the protoss base while I built that location up, then I did the pylon wall to keep out the spawns from the bottom and placed a row of shield batteries behind that. I then built back up to 60 or so stalkers and was easily able to take out the zerg base with them, all my probes, and one beginning zealot who just sat in the starting base all game until the end. Before watching this video I kept trying to go at it with mostly zealots, but that's just not where it's at in this mission.

it relieves me to know that you practiced multiple times before recording this. I can't imagine that you could do this first try .

This took me three tries on hard, an hour to finish, just got there after nearly mining out third base. Fun as hell!

took me 3 tries * 40min each. was pissed :( anyways, you could try the alternative: 1) breach the zerg base first and establish your natural expansion there, the reason being the spawning point in that base is just a narrow corridor (at the most eastern side of the zerg base)so build a single pylon there to block any melee zerg units from getting through and surround with batteries then a lot of cannons on the outer skirt, and that base is fairly secured, allowing you to push to the protoss base without worrying you base defense. and 2) do not destroy any power cell until you got the hard achievement, each power cell destruction will trigger an attack event that's getting harder each time, once you cleared all enemy building divide forces to all 4 locations destroying them at once, this will trigger no attack since the mission's won

This doesn't seem to work for me. I mean, I have destroyed all the enemy structures (even checked it with remove fog of war cheat, obviously loading again after that) and it doesn't trigger the achievement. The difficulty level I did this with was Hard. In the actual play I didn't use any cheats.
I guess I'm missing something obvious here.
edit. Oh, I just realized: Nydus Worms counts as structures!

thank you for this - I'd been trying to use half zealots, and they just don't work for busting the zerg base

This is a Stupid way actually. You dont have to receive punishments from Amon, if you clear the enemy bases first, Power cells could wait.

it's difficult to clear the protoss base without your stalkers getting the power cell near it
