I've been able to install in passenger vans with the headliner, you just need to peel back the headliner on the sides. Locations #2 (above sliding doors) & #5 (furthest back) are easiest to access. Otherwise you could use plusnuts or some other type of blind fastener.
I am having trouble with the front bar. Driver and passenger side. I removed the clips up top but isn’t open like the rear. How do I remove all of the indoor covers without ripping them? You skipped that part.
It’s up to you really. Typically people will go into location 2 & 5 on the Transit Connect. Take into consideration the length of your ladders or other cargo you will have up there. Usually the further rearward you mount, the less wind noise.
H32 & H34 are used on the Transit Connect. There is a difference with the height of the crossbar mount. Usually the middle uprights/bar sit a little lower to account for slope in the roof so that your ladders will sit flush when spanning across 3 cross bars.
Helpful, but does not work for Transit Connect that has headliner.

How do I find out if its LWB or SWB?
Check this video out for how to determine your wheelbase: ua-cam.com/video/TpS8LPi9szQ/v-deo.html

You have to reach your hand in between the headliner and the ceiling/roof. If you have a partition installed, this may be pretty tight.
@@upfitsupply I was able to figure it out. I appreciate your video and your help.
Can this work on an nissan nv200
Yes, just a different kit for the NV200: upfitsupply.com/product/vantech-h1-ladder-roof-rack-for-nissan-nv200/
If you have the 2 bar h1 model which hole locations would you use on the transit?

@@upfitsupplywhat location for the 2 bar h1 bar set on a Transit Connect with short wheelbase
@@NJDFAN76 It really is installer's choice. You can choose based on the length of your ladders and preference.
Is there any difference between is H33 And H31

I have brought those sets and opened the box and those got mixed up hard to figure it out which one is going in the middle
