Great question! Check the cords to see if any of the white elastic is coming through the black material also you can feel the cord to see if the elastic is broken inside of the black material. If the cords are good but loose you can always retighten them. For further assistance feel free to call 1-800-375-7520 Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 or Friday 8-3 central.
The wheels should last years and years. If you feel bumps when you use the machine, check to see if you have dirt on the wheels or if you have a knick in them. If they are damaged they will need to be replaced. If you have one of the earliest models, I would recommend changing to new wheels because they are made differently now and glide a little easier than before. Please note, the video here on youtube has a mistake on how to replace the wheels (the spacers are placed on the outside of the wheels and NEED to be on the inside to roll properly). If you choose to replace them, it is a good idea to take a picture of the old wheels first and put them back in the correct order so that your machine runs smoothly. Tightening the cords is a great option and can extend the life of the cords.
i have one of the more basic models that i got from QVC like... 7 years ago... i just got some replacement wheels to get 'er started again... but i'm noticing the underside of the body mat is wood and it's scraping on the metal railing part... any help? :/
Hi tOnY O, Our Customer Care Team can help with that. You will need your model number. Typically it is under the carriage on an all black sticker. If you can't find it you can always send us a picture of your model and we can identify it for you. You may need additional parts to go with your roller or they may be the wrong size. Give us a call at 1-800-375-7520 Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 or Friday 8-3 central.
Try to make sure your wheels were put on correctly. The spacers need to be on the inside of the wheels, closer to each other. If they are not, the platform will rub on the rails. With the wheel bolt, put on the wheel, then the spacer, then the washer...stick it through the wheel hole, then on the inside, put a washer and then the nut. Screw them together. If it is in a different order, the platform will rub. If that doesn't work, the customer service team should be able to help. The video here on youtube shows the wrong order, so it is an honest mistake.
Thank you for your question. Page 12 of your owners manual will go over how to customize the length of your straps. Our Customer Care Team would be happy to walk you through the process. Feel free to contact us at 1-800-375-7520 Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 or Friday 8-3 central.
I have the aero Pilates 610. How do the springs equate to red and blue…and yellow, the springs generally in the club Pilates program or other places with high end machines? Thanks!
Great question Sara! The blue springs are 7-28 lbs and the yellow springs are 9-39 lbs. The tension cords are yellow 10-16 lbs, black 16-24 lbs, and red 22-34 lbs. I hope this helps for further assistance please call our Customer Care Team at 1-800-375-7520 Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 or Friday 8-3 central.
The Black cords are the same resistance of 24 lbs. There are Red Cords, which add 40% more resistance than black cords, and yellow cords that are 40% less resistant than the black cords.
Hi Linda, Great question! The roller spacer kit available on our website will work for your 55-4295. Feel free to contact us at customer.care@staminaproducts.com for any questions.
I am looking into buying a aeropilates by stamina that is model #55-5006. is it discontinued? what is an equivalent model? Can I buy the base for this pecific model, will it fit?
Hi Karine, Our Customer Care Team would be happy to help you find the right model for you. The 55-5006 is not currently available it would need the Large Stand which will be available in June. Please call us for assistance at 1-800-375-7520 Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 or Friday 8-3 central.
@@petersugar2185 the foldable reformers will fit up to 6ft 4 in, if you are over that we recommend the 557 model, it is about 10" longer than our other models.
@@petersugar2185 For your height, I would recommend a 5 cord or larger 4 cord (models 651, 700, 701). The platform on those is 2 inches longer and will help to support your body better during the movements.
How do we replace aging straps? I have an older model, and the nylon on the straps has gotten rather sharp as it glides across my shoulders. Does anyone know where I can find this information? I am replacing the tension chords as well, but the main straps are the issue. (not the handles, the straps they're attached to)
Just moved and trying to set up my Aero PIlates on the platform base . It was fine before I moved but now the feet aren’t sitting in the grooved cups ??? Help , I want to start using it again elevated than on the floor :-O
It is and it isn't. This does not incline. It has should supports that help you stay aligned, where the Total Gym does not. I recommend this over the Total Gym. I have both and this will help you get more flexible and comes with the trampoline (an extra $100+ addition for the Total Gym). There is more. I like both machines, but I LOVE the AeroPilates.
When are you coming back to HSN?
I am considering buying a premier reformer. How much space do I actually need for this piece of equipment and to work out on it? Thanks
Marjolein, how can I tell when I need to replace the bungee-type cords and the wheels my aeropilates machine came with from the factory?

Hi do you have representative in Indonesia?

This is not a machine ( try using a dictionary) it is an apparatus.
Ah - I see you’re a teacher.
