Again, I'll be hearting only important information I missed, corrections to the information I provided, and future strategies and tech. He are some things I had to leave out due to time restrictions on production (or I frogor): Analysis - (should've been stressed more in the video) The BEST way to learn new things is by watching how experienced players play and see if you can replicate it for yourself. If it works, it works! Netherite PVP - It's similar to diamond pvp as all you need it kb 1 to combo like diamond. As for grinding, mine at ~y = 15 between chunk borders (f3+g), you can either bed mine (blocking yourself off from a bed and exploding it), tnt mine (mining a long tunnel and placing tnt on every other block), or sweep mine (holding left click with at least an efficiency 2 diamond pick and digging a wide tunnel). Stasis Chambers - get a 7 deep bubble column using soulsand and throw your pearl down directly. There's a way to make on using honey but you'll have to search a tutorial on that. String Duper (UPDATE!!) - In versions 1.22+ String dupers have been patched!! Use the other methods shown in the video to obtain emeralds, since the most OP method is patched! Play.smppvp.com is also a good server to practice, definitely give it a try! In the case the server allows maces and no slowfalling or you just don’t have it yet, you can use scaffolding to break the fall of your opponent, nullifying their mace attack. (Purely experimental) Winning LOOONG fights - If you are fighting with multiple people in the standard diamond smp kit (prot 4, sharp 5, strength 2) against a skilled opponent, fights can last FOREVER! As said in the video, extended duration potions are very useful for these types of fights and IF SOMEONE WERE TO DIE make sure to prioritize getting: EXP / HEALS then POTS then other stuff if you have inventory (in that order). This is because even if you have no armor or gaps you will just die, you'll be able to outlast your opponents in dura if you do this! Oh also anvil mending, made a video on that. I'll add more stuff if I remember anything!
- nobody is stopping you from attribute swapping/using a cooldown trick every hit, meaning it is *technically* the best way to disable, you can also stun while doing a doubleclick during attribute swap - if you axe main, you can try baiting the enemy into hold S trades, where both of you sprint/crit and immediately hold S, if they are using sword they're gonna lose health-wise - shield is inactive for 250ms (quarter of a second) + your ping so 100ms player has 350ms shield activation time - netherite armor doesnt get chipped by fire, so not using fire resistance is viable (theoretically viable in diamond too) because you mess with your damage ticks, making you extremely hard to combo - sword benefits from strength much more than axe, consider maining axe in strength 0-1 scenarios - dont jump if you have speed 2, its faster to sprint on the ground over sprint jumping - webs arent in tierlist smp kit for three reasons, neither of them being inventory inefficiency. They weren't commonly used while the kit was created, which led to people preferring webless version of the kit, because fighting with cobwebs can be VERY infuriating. Cobwebs allow for very unfun tactics, which go against competitive spirit of the kit. Also stack of webs will run out slower than stack of pearls considering you use pearls more often than webs AND pearls stack up to 16 - I really wished you elaborated, even if only slightly on explosion damage. You can block basically the entire explosion with one block, thus placing 5 obsidian around and under you makes you unkillable by any (grounded) traps - I wont comment much on commentary (lol), but I'll add that having shield should be added to advantages/disadvantages, considering you can block all of their hits while they can't, making health advantage not as valuable (sometimes its better to trade a shield for a free hit, but sometimes to keep it for easier pressure) - 35:30 Kairyu Negative (Morals) - DONT use gcarrots during the encounter, you were really close to dropping multiple times, gapping instead would be much better for your survibility - clerics are the easiest source of renewable pearls, enchanted bottles (mending) and redstone/glowstone (for potions), while buying gold (easy to get from gold farms/bastions) After watching this video for 5x longer than any normal person should I can say that despite the amount of corrections this is the best pvp guide I saw on and off the youtube, good job 9/10

Some ways to use: -Totem -Sheld -XP -Flame Bow (I use a bow in offhand when carting can be used to save that extra slot and swap on and off with other items) -Buckets (mostly for drain players)

Some speedrunner tech here: If you are trying to find a cave and there aren't any exposed to the surface, don't dig down randomly. Instead find a water pool and dig down there. im glad that you brought ping into consideration because it will be almost impossible to combo high ping players and very difficult to fight them as like you said they go through webs and like tp around a lot.
Bro you are criminally underrated. When I saw the first few seconds of this video I thought you had a few million subscribers, but no, you have under 5000. The production quality is peak, and the thoroughness is exactly what I'd hope for out of any guide, but almost no one does it. Big props tp you man. But I have to ask. Is this your first time creating content / your first channel? If yes, then I am impressed beyond end
one strategy I have found useful for grinding is to use the premade villager crop farms and building a box around it, then transporting the villagers out with the same design showed in the automatic section of the video. hope this helps :3
40:45 I want to inform everyone that f3+a is only possible when using optifine (can be pulled off on sodium if the entity is behind a 1 block wall) so using it is literally at the same level as using xray, just for entities. I recommend asking your local smp owner if f3+a is allowed in the server, and if it isn't written down anywhere ask him to put it in the rules or sth. So no one gets an unfair advantage, just because they're using an obscure bug in a mod
Most SMPs nowadays use the datapack "infinite restock for villagers" and with that villagers never show the "x" mark on their trades, by using that, a small amount of people cure a zombie villager make him into a cartographer, upgrade him so he sells 4 glass panes for 1 emerald, and then set up a librarian (i suggest you've found a book first like mending or prot on that villager) upgrade him too so he sells 1 emerald for 4 glass, buy 8 glass and craft them into 16 glass panes and trade them for more emeralds (this can also be used as an xp farm, since trading with villagers gives xp)
Potions of weaving can also be used to move faster through cobwebs if you want to conserve pearls or do not have any quick methods of getting out of them. Edit: it changes your speed when you are on the ground in a cobweb from 25% to 50%.
4:59 it’s simple Pythagoras theorem. a^2+b^2=c^2. a and b will always be smaller than c, and since c is the hypotenuse (representing the distance when someone is looking down from a ledge), it will be easier for someone Lower than them to start getting hits for free,
Alot off servers dont allowe pie ray+entity count to find traps so be careful when they arent allowed. U can also use chorus fruit to tp do the ground if your high up.
by the way you can also download some mods like motion blur effect status armor hud inventory hud gamma utils and more that should improve your survival skills and pvp
Fun Fact: If you made a string duper and used it for long enough that you have maxed out fisherman, but then admins tell you "Nuh uh, string dupers aren't allowed!", you can use boats, which are the most profitable money making method FOR REFERENCE: A fletcherman buys 32 sticks for an emerald, which is 16 planks A fisherman buys a boat for an emerald, which is 5 planks Meaning, the boat method is triple as efficient than sticks! (not in inventory space though) And unless the tick speed is increased, this is probably better than waiting for your pumpkins to grow. However, I feel like unlocking the boat trade is gonna be extremely painful since its gonna require a lot of either emeralds or fishing.
@@xXChoccyMilkXx 1. have already mentioned that. still shouldnt be a problem. 2. i know 3. im talking about emerald making here, not "which villager job is the most useful" 4. ok fair enough but that might just be a bit tedious
They only have a stock of 12 rather than 16, great thing about melons/pumpkins is they have a combined stock of 24. It is still technically viable though
Recently I tried using jump boost + slow falling tipped arrows on my opponent. This might not be completely valid since I haven't tested out the jump boost much and please correct me if it has anyother benefits other then negating fall damage and the ideayou had with the honey block arena in a different video. Also you can get tipped arrows from max fletchers but it can be hard to get what you want since you can't reroll a leveled up fletcher. (I got instant health, fire resistance and night vision at first.)
personally I like to focus on mechanics like shielding and combing rather than using utilities to their max potential but maybe that’s just my smp kit side thinking
I’m joining a dia smp server soon and this is the most useful thing ever. Is there anywhere you recommend where I can find more in depth tutorials or designs on good and functional bases? Thanks you
@@SkullCrusherK i put a lot of extra info in “The playlist in the description” but unfortunately there are few detailed guides. Best way to learn is through practicing with skilled players or analyzing high tier fighting (what they do any why). Glad my vid helped!
holy shit this is beautiful like genuinely thank you so much for this, I also love the little animations, they add so much. what software did you use to make them?
For smart mending! Its more optimal to use a armor hud because the ideal smart mend in diasmp is healing everything to ur helmets limit (363) So u want every piece to be at 360-370 for a perfect mend. Just how in official smp kit. the helmets dura limit is 407. so u have to heal everything to 400. (Only for first mend But for 2nd mend just make everything to the same number of durability!) This BY FAR the most effective way to mend!! I think you shouldve mentioned this because something being lower by 10-20 dura then the rest of the armor could change an entire fight. That saved my lt3 eval. mending correctly so By the end of the fight my armor was 4 5 2 6 And the other players armor broke XD Nice tutorial tho :D Ill miss ur content! :P
i will say that with speed 2 you can combo people with speed 0-1 much easier and can get out of webs faster so using a mix of strength 2 and speed 2 is pretty viable
If you don’t have cobs you can possibly carry a lava bucket as a replacement, though this would only work as a replacement to head webbing and you need to get your lava back before the opponent places water
Counter cobbing can also be countered by simply crouching and not holding w if done at the right timing you can crit which sometimes doesn't make counter cobbing a neutral position. The same can be done with water and lava just a lot harder due to you not being held in place.
You also didn't go over how to use the shield but only when to disable it. Some ways to shield are fast shielding (as shown in the video), Shield sacrificing (which is putting up your shield then auto hitting which works really well when in a crit chain or combo), and Shield values which are values for when you should hold your shield such as when you're about to be put in a combo or crit chain.
Another main way to get emeralds is raid farms. Before 1.21, raid farms where so easy and op to build. Now, in 1.21, raid farms are more difficult to build but are insanely op in late-game villager trading.
The thing I hate about using garrots for sat, is you either have to eat twice because an exchange went on too long or you are waiting for like, 15 seconds to eat
ok but then you'd have to get in swim/crawl mode first. The set up for that would take a while and would lose you precious time to deal more damage. However benefit of the doubt, best way would be to place a string, water on top, swim, pick up water and place next to web, then swim crit. Again not super practical, but it is possible
@@KairyuYT You don't HAVE to enter crawl mode to crit. As long as your vertical velocity is going down and you're not sprinting then a crit will register, even if you're just falling down in a shape or form for like 0.1 second. Breaking a cobweb with a sword takes 8 ticks (0.4 sec) while breaking it with water takes 5 ticks (0.25 sec) to break it. As long as your timings are good, then you're able to perform crit chains while on water. In fact, breaking it with water and critting during that process leads to a FASTER time to get damage dealt. However, the weird timings and horizontal flow of the water that pushes you back makes it harder as well as other potential factors such as how tight the space is, the y level between you and your opponent, or it just sabotaging your teammates. It really just depends on you and your skill.
@@StaticBeamXD that's also a popular solution, ofc issue would be the amount of visible hitbox might be hard to hit when you're elevated but 80% of the time that should work
@@StaticBeamXD I nearly 100% sure you can't crit in water (not like lava at least). You can jump out of the water and perform a crit (if that's what you're talking about) but water does reduce your vertical jumping speed so it would take longer to get out of the water and thus make the critting slower. Definitely not the best method but ig if you got no other items it works alr
gonna be honest idk how to fight ppl with swords so i just gun ppl down with crossbows + tipped arrows and fireworks. i should learn this though to have a fuller toolkit

Thank you for shouting out diasmp ❤
hell yah! i went into this thinking i’d learn nothing since im already pretty decent but how wrong i was.. thanks so much for this tutorial!
so glad you got something out of it! 😭🙏
Thank you for the great amount of time you put into this video :)
Thank you, this video helpes me a lot, even though I already knew some of the strats.
So glad you could find some use out of it 😭🙏
This was helpful thanks!!!
This was so helpful for me, thank you so much!!!
Very W video, thanks for all the informative videos Kairyu!
So glad you found use in it 🙏
Cobwebs are still useful in melee kits with high pearl count; because it drains pearls, which is useful for long fights
really fun to watch video, ill probably find these really useful
im glad that you brought ping into consideration because it will be almost impossible to combo high ping players and very difficult to fight them as like you said they go through webs and like tp around a lot.
we getting ht1 with this one (lowkey useful guide, im decent at dia smp and there is so much stuff here i did not know)
important thing is - having strength not only makes you do more damage, but also allows u to shred opponents armor durability faster :)
Did bro really just say "strength does more damage to stuff" like, what? Who doesn't know?
@@Ozryl lmfao, well, it wasnt stated in video, new players might not know that idk
I didn't know you were a goat like that
Fun fact: Potion of cleaving (added in 1.21) Can reduce the speed decrease from being in a cobweb
Gonna miss you bro😭 Love ya forever
Thank you knowledgeable person.
First time creating a “successful” channel. Third time in total
@@KairyuYT do you still have those channels up?
I'd love to see how your editing progressed to this level
@@DRGx3 one of them no, the other one is dragonfrvit
one strategy I have found useful for grinding is to use the premade villager crop farms and building a box around it, then transporting the villagers out with the same design showed in the automatic section of the video. hope this helps :3
this video helped me take over the lifesteal smp
Keep up the work dude🔥
THE ULTIMATE SMP PVP GUIDES!
Underrated!
no matter what this vid is already goated
40:45 I want to inform everyone that f3+a is only possible when using optifine (can be pulled off on sodium if the entity is behind a 1 block wall) so using it is literally at the same level as using xray, just for entities. I recommend asking your local smp owner if f3+a is allowed in the server, and if it isn't written down anywhere ask him to put it in the rules or sth. So no one gets an unfair advantage, just because they're using an obscure bug in a mod
Best ever pvp guides
Axe: Niiners guide
UHC: Swight's guide
sword: Intel edit's guide
Npot: Xicz' guide
Neth SMP: Only A Squid's guide
Dia SMP: and overall SMPing: Kairyu's guide
Crystal PVP: IDK rly but I think ItzBlake's guide
the youtuber col1nnn Made a really good cpvp tutorial for players lt3+ :D
itzBlakes guide is not the best tbh if a beginner saw it , they wont improve as much just most of the tricks help in drain fights
Can you send the link to Niiners video I can't seem to find it
actually good advice for beginners ngl i wish i had this 3 years ago when i started👍
Me too 😭
Most SMPs nowadays use the datapack "infinite restock for villagers" and with that villagers never show the "x" mark on their trades, by using that, a small amount of people cure a zombie villager make him into a cartographer, upgrade him so he sells 4 glass panes for 1 emerald, and then set up a librarian (i suggest you've found a book first like mending or prot on that villager) upgrade him too so he sells 1 emerald for 4 glass, buy 8 glass and craft them into 16 glass panes and trade them for more emeralds (this can also be used as an xp farm, since trading with villagers gives xp)
@@ItzMich4elXD definitely not most, but a decent amount of them use it now. Good strategy ⬆️
Potions of weaving can also be used to move faster through cobwebs if you want to conserve pearls or do not have any quick methods of getting out of them. Edit: it changes your speed when you are on the ground in a cobweb from 25% to 50%.
4:59 it’s simple Pythagoras theorem. a^2+b^2=c^2. a and b will always be smaller than c, and since c is the hypotenuse (representing the distance when someone is looking down from a ledge), it will be easier for someone Lower than them to start getting hits for free,
@@Cl0udPvP I assumed most people knew it but in case anyone doesn’t… ⬆️
I suggest adding your "How to take an unfair fight" vid in the playlist bc only planned fights have an equal number of ppl
Good idea
Glad I helped
Alot off servers dont allowe pie ray+entity count to find traps so be careful when they arent allowed.
U can also use chorus fruit to tp do the ground if your high up.
THIS GUY IS LEAKING THE STRATS
by the way you can also download some mods like motion blur effect status armor hud inventory hud gamma utils and more that should improve your survival skills and pvp
Fun Fact: If you made a string duper and used it for long enough that you have maxed out fisherman, but then admins tell you "Nuh uh, string dupers aren't allowed!", you can use boats, which are the most profitable money making method
FOR REFERENCE:
A fletcherman buys 32 sticks for an emerald, which is 16 planks
A fisherman buys a boat for an emerald, which is 5 planks
Meaning, the boat method is triple as efficient than sticks! (not in inventory space though)
And unless the tick speed is increased, this is probably better than waiting for your pumpkins to grow.
However, I feel like unlocking the boat trade is gonna be extremely painful since its gonna require a lot of either emeralds or fishing.
1: boats can’t stack
2: sticks are a level 1 trade
3: fletchers can trade potion arrows
4: you can cure a fletcher so it takes less sticks
@@xXChoccyMilkXx
1. have already mentioned that. still shouldnt be a problem.
2. i know
3. im talking about emerald making here, not "which villager job is the most useful"
4. ok fair enough but that might just be a bit tedious
They only have a stock of 12 rather than 16, great thing about melons/pumpkins is they have a combined stock of 24. It is still technically viable though
@@xXChoccyMilkXx true but in recent versions you can only cure a fletcher once and its going to cost like 26 sticks minimum per emerald
Recently I tried using jump boost + slow falling tipped arrows on my opponent. This might not be completely valid since I haven't tested out the jump boost much and please correct me if it has anyother benefits other then negating fall damage and the ideayou had with the honey block arena in a different video.
Also you can get tipped arrows from max fletchers but it can be hard to get what you want since you can't reroll a
leveled up fletcher.
Thanks for helping my friend (:
holy shit this is beautiful like genuinely thank you so much for this, I also love the little animations, they add so much. what software did you use to make them?
So glad you got something out of it! (Da Vinci resolve)
@@KairyuYT u made the animations in davinci? thats awesome lol
(Only for first mend But for 2nd mend just make everything to the same number of durability!)
This BY FAR the most effective way to mend!! I think you shouldve mentioned this because something being lower by 10-20 dura then the rest of the armor could change an entire fight. That saved my lt3 eval. mending correctly so By the end of the fight my armor was
4
5
2
6
And the other players armor broke XD
Nice tutorial tho :D
Ill miss ur content! :P
Watching hogh tier smp fights, it definitely comes down to that final 10 dura. This is true
i will say that with speed 2 you can combo people with speed 0-1 much easier and can get out of webs faster so using a mix of strength 2 and speed 2 is pretty viable
In PlayStyles In pressure you want to pearl if you are Cobwebed But the enemy Is LOW like only if hes low so you could get a quick drop
"I try and stay away from modification"
*uses feather client*
@@h4m1m i lowkey just use it for its toggle sprint after death and full bright. 😭
This helped me so much thank you!!!
If you don’t have cobs you can possibly carry a lava bucket as a replacement, though this would only work as a replacement to head webbing and you need to get your lava back before the opponent places water
Webs are just better though, so it’s preferred
wth
Amazing video
Counter cobbing can also be countered by simply crouching and not holding w if done at the right timing you can crit which sometimes doesn't make counter cobbing a neutral position.
The same can be done with water and lava just a lot harder due to you not being held in place.
You also didn't go over how to use the shield but only when to disable it. Some ways to shield are fast shielding (as shown in the video), Shield sacrificing (which is putting up your shield then auto hitting which works really well when in a crit chain or combo), and Shield values which are values for when you should hold your shield such as when you're about to be put in a combo or crit chain.
@@Evap0rate-m4d I quickly mentioned auto hitting and shielding to break combos. But definitely should've went deeper into it!
Boats can also insta-travel to the nether, and with latest update delay between transitions was shrinked from 15sec to to 0.5. Nice video!
44:33 the nod!
GOAT ❤
Holy moly! W video
You can place a pressure plate then a web right after so they have to water above, instead of breaking blocks around
You said how webs aren't meta in SMP tier list because of pearls. However could u pearls be drained if u fought someone who is good with webs.
Yes!
Another main way to get emeralds is raid farms.
Before 1.21, raid farms where so easy and op to build.
Now, in 1.21, raid farms are more difficult to build but are insanely op in late-game villager trading.
were getting t1 with this 🗣🗣🔥🔥
The thing I hate about using garrots for sat, is you either have to eat twice because an exchange went on too long or you are waiting for like, 15 seconds to eat
i think the playlist might be linked in the description
This is correct information
@@KairyuYT🐐
best pvp guide video👌
great video bro
20:13 you can still crit them by 'swimming' up and down yk
ok but then you'd have to get in swim/crawl mode first.
@@KairyuYT ...or just jump up place a block below you so the water flow doesn't affect you while you crit...
Can’t wait… but I must.
i was singing cherry wine with the background music
WWW I love the song 😋
could you provide texturepacks you use for pvp??????????
🤯liked your video too
@@Mafia_Systumm i use shield correction, low fire, and whatever the basic presets are for feather
The worst feeling is realizing 99% of the strategies you thought you invented, was not your original idea. Damn you.
To be fair Minecraft has a lot of possibilities for strategies and yet it's still limited to what is possible ingame. So I guess nothing we really make can be considered original in terms of the Minecraft community. 🤔
