I first liked Alex when he said the truth about Hannah in season 1 indirectly...it was a very small detail that I liked.. When justin tells, " Hannah Baker was a liar, she lied about everything". Then Alex shouts and says, did she lie? Did she justin? At least she told the truth about me."

I absolutely believe it was wrong to kill Bryce, but i see that overall Alex is a good person and even though i didn’t realise it the first three seasons i now see that he was all along on the nice caring path, just well hidden behind his sarcasm and heavy baggage, and of course vital mistakes

Genuinely good people do not kill others especially when the other person is not an immediate threat. Alex does not have the right to be judge, jury and executioner. With that said it’s a TV show and I enjoyed, it creative license and all that.
He was a genuine good person except that he lets his cop dad cover up his crimes, let Hannah get raped which he admitted that he could have stop it and that he literally murdered a person. Other than that, totally a good angel
