St.Joseph's Convert School, founded in Gaibira on 14th march 2016 is conducted by the Religious of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liege.The Congregation founded by Mother Marie Therese Haze in 1833 in Belgium has been active in the sphere of education throughout the world ever since it's foundations.As its central motivating force it has the experience of God's love revealed to all people in the suffering and death of Jesus on the Cross. With Jesus we desire to bring about the liberation of every person, specially the weakest and the most suffering members of society.
Education being the means of social transformation,we enable our students to be intellectually competent, physically fit, morally sound, Socially aware, Compassionate,imbued with the sense of the Divine,respectful of the environment, committed to the cause of peace, justice and love, prepared to meet the challenges of their life's journey.
The School' motto God, my Country and Duty is an accurate reflection of the learning process at St.Joseph's Convent School Gaibira.It means we wish to give a Student an integral formation for life in which they will give priority to these three aspects -God, country and Duty.
St.Joseph's Convent School Gaibira will be affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination,New Delhi.
At present we are 18 teachers in the school with 318 students Nursery to Std-VI. Gradually we are upgrading the classes....in the Academic session 2024-25 we have upgraded Std-VII. We are aiming to have smart classes and other facilities soon.We have full hope and confidence that St. Joseph's Convent School will have bright and successful future.Thank you.
