Scouting for Sustainable Development

Irish Rover Scout, Lydia Keating, from the 31st Waterford Scout Troop, is leading initiatives to tackle climate change and environmental issues as a member of the Scouting Ireland Sustainability Team. Starting Scouting at an early age led Lydia on a path to discover, learn and educate other young Scouts and her community on the sustainability goals and climate action awareness, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 on Education, promoting lifelong learning for all and 13 on Climate Action.
