Thank you, a very good video. I don't want to sound biased, but I think those who say Pogba is better than KDB are just kids who love seeing football players dribbling skills. Meanwhile KDB contribute a whole lot of other attributes only true analysts like you could appreciate
Geralt of Rivia If a tactical analysis was made of Pogba you'd see many of the same attributes.
Looks to me like you just see the skills as well and not everything else he can do.
David De Bruyne is much more completed player. Strong on both feet, strong finisher, can find a pass and play it perfectly, crosses are insane, dribbling is massively underrated, his work off the ball is amazing. Does a lot to win the ball back. He is a much more completed player also he doesn’t give the ball away like a fool. De Bruyne is the complete player Pogba is an attacker.
David also consistency is a bit of an issue

Anthony Chitic Pogba is strong on both feet, better dribbler, can find a pass (KDB is a better passer tho), He can shoot as well. Pogba can do a lot of what KDB can do. Different players + we still haven't seen the best of Pogba.

4:55 the heat map against United is hilarious with that little dot by the corner lol. He was just killing the game off towards the end able to keep possession and win like 6 consecutive corners I was loving it. Also, those are the biggest raindrops I've ever seen lol.

Good stuff Piotr. What should be mentioned is this positioning of KDB is a natural instinct. I've seen him do the same thing at much younger age during his Genk days. He's the type of player that makes the coach look like a tactical genius. If I have one critique on this video it has to be you giving Guardiola too much credit for stuff that comes natural to KDB.

One of the hardest grafters I've seen at City, ally that with his passing,crossing and movement is turning him into one of the best players in the world. The old timers keep saying Colin Bell was the best City player ever, he'd have to be brilliant to be better than this kid?!! KDB and David Silva are the best City players I've ever seen and I've been going since 1983, Yaya up there too.

Thanks! Impressive as always. Finally, good choice of music) Do you plan to analyse KdB's weak points? Cause he has them in abundance. Lacks press-resistance, his ball-retention is average, especially when attacked from both sides, it makes him quite ineffective in congested areas. His passing sometimes seems to lack 'strategic' intent, which is important for DLP.
Once read an opinion that Kroos and KdB are like 2 parts of a perfect midfielder. I couldn't say it better.
I my opinion those weak points you're pointed are quite harsh, his ball retention is just OK, he might not be Iniesta or David Silva but for a tall player he is doing good
And his passing could barely improve, it is really impressive
I think a weak point is his attitude, he tends to be very pissed off easily
can you do a Mo Salah video shortly as well? I hope your planning it soon because he is on fire this season. Love your videos!!!!!

Would the 3/4ths body shape also apply to Fernandinho in the holding midfield role? Because I see him doing this a lot as well. Also, could you please make a Fernandinho analysis? Great video!
The 3/4 body shape applies to all of them, it is really part of the Guardiola's football principles, it's just that some players do it better than others
KDB and Fernandinho would do it more naturally than Sterling for example
I dunno yet tbh, I might do an analysis about Fernandinho in the future yeah why not :D

N'empêche je pense que KDB doit beaucoup à Guardiola qui a réussi à trouver le moyen d'exploiter au mieux ses qualités. Il a vraiment passé un cap cette saison et je vois pas meilleur à son poste pour l'instant (après ça va vite en football, peut-être que dans un mois je dirai plus la même chose). L'énigme c'est le pourquoi de son mauvais niveau en équipe nationale. Est-ce parce qu'il se marche sur les pieds avec Hazard ? Parce qu'on a pas eu un bon coach depuis 1986 ? Mystère

Résultat des courses, on se retrouve avec un gars qui n'a jamais rien gagné et qui a fait une seule bonne saison à Everton (donc même pas au top niveau) mais qui se retrouve à entrainer la plus belle génération de joueurs qu'on ai eu
