I got Ticket To Ride Berlin city map. I like it because it has streetcars and subway cars to choose from to build your route. Need to find the right balance or you run out of one type. Reminds a bit of a simpler version of Ticket to Ride Rails and Sails with train cars and ships to choose from to build your route. I will use Berlin as a teaching intro. Game to Ticket to Ride and/or as a filler game. Thanks for your review of London.
I got this to play with my daughter because we both have short attention spans and it has a shorter play time. It is for Christmas 2021. I also got Super electronic Monopoly.
Although London and New York aren't my favorite Ticket to Ride editions, they do have their place. I have previously been involved in mentoring Grade 3-4 children in school during their lunch once a week. I have always wanted to be able to play Ticket to Ride with them but have been unable because the time we have is too short to play. These smaller maps are perfect to be able to play and still eat lunch. They are also a great size for portability and the fast gameplay is great for entertaining a child while waiting for a Hockey practice to start or end. I just got London and New York for Christmas 2020 and am looking forward to normal life again so I can tote Ticket to Ride around with my kids to after school activities. I wouldn't recommend London as an introduction to Ticket to Ride for a family as the game play ends just as you are getting into playing. The longer, original maps are better for a game night. But they are great for on the go. I am thinking that with the fast play, it might be great to keep score like when playing Yahtzee. Maybe the highest total score over three rounds is declared the winner? We don't tend to grab New York or London out from the game closet for game night....
I'm a newbie gamer just starting a collection. I thought this might work well as a filler game (since some of my other games are longer and more involved). It could also maybe be a good intro to the series? It's such a classic game and is included in so many top 20 lists. If me and my friends enjoy, I can go back and get one of the more complex versions? I have noticed comments about it being well suited for kids... Would it still be engaging and fun for adults? I was hoping it still has some complexity and strategy, but just a shorter time span? Thoughts or advice? 🤷🏻♂️

Definitely would like rules to extend the gameplay a bit. The game does end too soon.
