That was GREAT! I though ok, corona episode from home. I’ve seen other shows do it - it’s usually kind of okay. But this was excellent - the writing & characters for this show are SO good.
This episode was SO GOOD. Poppy da MVP-from being the entire mood from the last year to pulling the bra trick that everyone who has ever been in a girl’s locker room knows she was just 😘🤌 Also Ashly having the Aloy statue in the background killed me 💀💜
I absolutely adore this show. Genius writing. Phenomenal acting. This wasn’t just a perfect quarantine episode but just a perfect episode in general for me.
I’m not usually a fanboy of, well, anything, but as a frontline ER doc wading hip-deep in COVID for the last 12 months, separated from my family and pretty much everything I care about, this show, and particularly this episode, has lifted my spirits more times than I care to confess. If you all ever wonder if what you do matters, take this as my testament, and my thanks. Can’t wait for May 7.

I just watched this episode and it is the best thing media I have seen come out of the pandemic. This nailed all the dynamics that I lived and when Poppy got that hug it felt like the hug we all wanted in 2020. Well done team.
Ian going to see Poppy was so sweet. I really felt for her. I had to go into work during the lockdown but some, like her, were alone for months. And that had to suck.
This was the best of the quarantine episodes any show did. It didn't feel like a gimmick, still built up the characters and plot, and was funny and touching!
That was one of the most uplifting things I have seen on TV... Well I guess my monitor. lol It like really got to me. Poppy scene was... powerful and that ending. IDK it was just brilliant!

You know, except for her addressing him by his real name instead his character's, the "mic cord or fly down" gaffe almost seems like something Carol would have to deal with from Ian (or several other MQ employees).
What phone and video recording app did they use? It didn't seem like they used iPhones for it. The video quality on the episode was so good I thought it was shot with a DSLR

Not only was this by far the best Quarantine episode of any other show, it honestly, It was probably my favourite episode of Mythic Quest in general.
The part with Poppy breaking down at the end really hit home to me and I’m sure a lot of people. Love this show!
