This film is based off of the weeping angels. When you blink the statues move and come to k*ll you. That's why they kept referencing the statue. So as long as he didn't see her in her statue form he would've been fine.
The quality of the basic techniques in the film is so high that I was able to watch it until the end without getting bored. It is easy to see that you are doing your best with a small number of people and a low budget. I can easily predict that you will make your next work with a larger budget and a lot of staff. But to be perfectly honest if it were me, I would’ve never went back in the house. I would’ve been knocking on neighbors doors finding my way down the street.
