Very nice Video, Dominator 85 became pretty rare. Especially in this great condition.

Hello I would like to know how to adjust the claas 85 for wheat harvest, because I worked a campaign and there was a clogg between the 2 sites ( the mall one and the big one ) and it made it dirty. I would like to know at what rpm is optimal for wheat harvest.

Hedesan Efrem Run the cylinder about 1100-1350 rpm, use wheat sieves if you have them ( 7/ 32" oblong holes ). When using sieves, remove the chaffers from the combine and install the adjustable sieves where the chaffers were and install the finishing sieves below. Without finishing sieves, open the chaffers 3/8" and the adjustable sieves only just open. Observe the tailings, which will be heavy, and slowly open the sieves until the tailings are at a minimum without putting too much trash in the grain tank. Wind blast should be 80. Preliminary concave adjustment to be made outside the combine, observed through inspection ports. Cylinder/concave clearance at the front should be 1/2" with adjustment lever in cab placed at the second hole from the top of the quadrant. Rear clearance should be 3mm. If not feeding steady and slugging the cylinder, try additional auger flighting at the center of The auger, to push the crop farther into the center, into a tighter pile, so the fingers can grab it and throw it into the feed rake. Raise the beater flap to throw the straw farther out onto straw walkers if you have green weeds, or they will be pulverized and end up on the sieves and make separation difficult. If white caps appear, try engaging the auxiliary threshing plate , and/or close the sieves and increase the tailings until the grain begins to crack.

One does question with the growth of hi tech combines n their huge capacity just how few farm hands will be employed each harvest compare to the combines of this era.
