Well there is already a PROTOCOL for thanking servers... they're called customer surveys and I bet there are tons of people who fill them out all the time just to thank people. They are the true unsung heroes of this world.
I LOVE the Thank Calling vids. I feel like the guy at trader joes was totally pranking you and like had no idea who you were describing so just listed off a couple of names for you to pick from just to end the convo haha.
Ok Ya'll definitely converted me bc i HATE prank calling. I hate prank calling or watching someone do it or even just hearing about it. I LITERALLY have a gut reaction of severe 2nd hand embarassment and I cannot stomach it. I immediately shut the video down. But i gave you guys a chance and THANK CALLING actually was such a good thing. It actually made my day and i had no feeling of repulsion or 2nd hand embarassment from the LIES and DECEPTION usually associated with Prank Calling.

I do this all the time! As someone who has been on the supervisor side of several supervisor calls, you rarely get positive calls. I like to call places and ask to speak with the supervisor, then just tell them how awesome their team is!
i'd like to see a thank calling video where mamrie gathers a bunch of retail/food store numbers, write the numbers without the name of the store and puts them in a hat and you have to draw one and call without knowing where you're calling before they answer! i think the improv would be great :D
