As I got older I found out people don't have control over their dreams. Every dream I have is lucid. I've always been this way. But I honestly like letting the dream take its course, only making slight modifications to narrative.

Gonna expand a little on the sleep paralysis demon stuff. These are called hypnogogic or hypnopompic hallucinations (hypnogogic are as you are falling asleep, while hypnopompic are as you wake up). It's caused by changes in your REM cycle which is the dream stage of sleep. If you have an irregular sleep pattern, which can often coincide with lucid dreams and sleep paralysis, you are more likely to experience these types of hallucinations. I have an unspecified sleep disorder, so I get these every single night (I take sleep meds and watch youtube chronically to drown them out or fall asleep before they show up- literally what I'm doing right now). when you wake up earlier than your brain is prepared for, your body may take time to catch up, which is when sleep paralysis can occur. If your mind is also still waking up, then you might get hypnopompic hallucinations, aka sleep paralysis demons.
Anyway, loved the video!! Always down to hear people talk about their dream experiences, because I've had some wild ones. Love the art too! I might take a lil inspiration from you on my next project if that's okay lol

Ayo pretty sure i have the same thing but never actually heard of anyone else describing this.
Quetapines saved my life lmao, without them (or the stuff i used to self medicate with) I'd just lay in a cycle of getting into sleep paralysis, wake up with my brain feeling like I'm in the middle of the most busy train station/highway or something and then repeat until I was literally so exhausted I'd pass out, usually after being awake for like 25-30 hours.
