    Fascinating podcast! The period of the Vinca culture coincides with the time of existence of the prehistoric cultures on the Black Sea cost, specifically Solnitsata in Provadia, Tell Yunatsite in Pazardzhik, and the Varna necropol, 5500-4200 BCE. I wonder whether the two cultures were related, connected, trading, etc.

    in early 90s teenage me read deciphering of Phaistos Discus. Turns out it was treaty between kings of 7(?) cities written in slightly archaic Lithuanian language! And it made sense, because my grandparents lived in Kretingalė village which sounds very similar to Crete

    The Tărtăria tablets are very controversial in Romania and in fact most archaeologists here are highly sceptical about them. The circumstances surrounding their finding are not known, all we know is that Vlassa had them in the museum and published about them. He claimed they were found at Tărtăria, but could never provide much detail. He did not see them on site with his own eyes and it seems he was not present at the time, so the excavation was probably run by students when they were supposedly found. My archaeology professor in university told us that students in the University of Cluj were actually known at the time for occasionally pulling archaeological pranks during digs.

  • @danaglabeman6919
    @danaglabeman6919 2 місяці тому

    If the Tărtăria tablets are genuine, they look pretty straightforward to me. I'm.not an archaeologist, but they're all about the size of an index card with a hole in the top: labels designed to be tied to something. 2 of them are divided into quadrants, like a way of separating different types of information, and they all have in common one symbol, either vertical or horizontal, of 5 short lines crosed by 1 line down the middle. If they were labels, and found together at the same place, maybe they're from 3 different containers all coming from or going to the same location? Maybe the different shapes (circle, oblong, squarish) are for different products, or different size/types of containers? They just look very business/record-keeping to me. And you don't have to have a sophisticated language everyone can read and write to understand how a set of symbols corresponds to product type, amount, and origin. The square one has an obvious goat/ram, and then something that looks to me like a dead animal, so maybe a parcel of hides? No proof, but the fact they all share that one symbol makes me wonder if it's to do with a shared orgin or destination.

    Thank you for this. Serbian scholars of the Serbian Autochtonist History School such as Miloš S. Milojević and Sava Lukin Lazić were based upon these foundings. Our history is very hidden and definitely has nothing to do with what the recognized historiohraphy presents us.

      Since the past began to change, they also began to change how genetics works, so in order to prove their historical theory, they even change genetics. From the entire Balkans, people who specialize in genetics know that the 12a haplogroup is the oldest in our region, which is the most logical since most people carry it. Romanians for example who are known to be descendants of Dacian tribes have R1b (Latin haplogroup) and 12a (Serbian indigenous haplogroup). They don't have an E like the Albanians who are supposedly "Illyrians". That haplogroup E1b has nothing to do with our region, the Albanians are a Caucasian tribe, and their genetic group came to them during the Muslim conquests, when the Arabs sent them to North Africa and from there to Sicily. From there they migrated through Italy and across the Adriatic Sea to the Balkans in the 11th century, where they are mentioned for the first time. The Greeks all come from Pontus, they came in 1500 BC and spread to Greece, Crete, Asia Minor and Cyprus, that's why they have the J2 haplogroup because they are originally from Anatolia.

      It can be seen in general how much people don't know about the conflict for historiography,start from yourself. It didn't used to be so simple,there wasn't recognized. The largest schools of history were the Vienna-Berlin Historical School and the Serbian Autochthonous Historical School. Russia, other Slavic countries and even France supported us,so many people supported the Serbian lectures because it had the most logic and explained everything from the beginning of humanity, while the Germans only wanted to portray us as a smaller race because they hate the Slavs. In the end, the Vienna-Berlin Historical School won and it became the official historiography. Serbia was even forced to accept that version, which is completely wrong, because the Great Powers threatened us that they would not recognize us and thus we would not even have a country for ourselves, only if we see how good relations the Obrenovićs had with Austria, everything can be seen. Walter Wüst said that Srbinda from the Rigveda is the founder of the Aryan race and ruler of the Indo-Europeans in it's expeditions to India since he was working to find information about the mystical Srbinda. Think for a bit...how come Hitler decided of first bombing the library of Belgrade when the bombing begun at the start of the conquest of the city? 🤔

    • @bigserbiabelgrade
      @bigserbiabelgrade Рік тому +2

      The Slavs originate from us but we are not Slavs, that's what I want you to understand. We Serbs are Paleo-Balkanic people. Germanics tried their best to cover this up because they hated our people and wanted to depict themselves as more advanced and richer historically. They hated Greeks too,but Greece accepted a Germanic Bavarian king so they didn't do the same to you. If Othonas (Otto) didn't come to rule,they would've wrote down how ancient Greeks are Albanians,just like they wrote Ancient Serbs are Albanians. Austrians hated both Serbs and Greeks,but tolerated the Greeks because they accepted one of their own to rule upon them.

    It should be noted.
    "SLAV" Comes from "Pravo Slava".
    Pravo slava is what the Catholic upon separation during the schism.. called "Orthodox Christianity".
    Faith predates culture.
    Slav comes from "Pravo Slava Vera". [Faith of the true glory]
    Slavs travelled from the Balkans outward..they teavelled towards Russia. They didnt come from Russia as Holy Roman Vatican, Catholic German Hapsburgs concerned with stealing lands from Serbs, Yugoslavs, Slavs, Pravo Slavs and everything non Holy Roman, Frankish, Hapsburg, German or Vatican.
    As they did in Africa, Southeast Asia, or even towards the Indigenous in the Americas.

      The reconstructed autonym *Slověninъ is usually considered a derivation from slovo ("word"), originally denoting "people who speak (the same language)", meaning "people who understand one another", in contrast to the Slavic word denoting "German people", namely *němьcь, meaning "silent, mute people" (from Slavic *němъ "mute, mumbling"). The word slovo ("word") and the related slava ("glory, fame") and sluh ("hearing") originate from the Proto-Indo-European root *ḱlew- ("be spoken of, glory"), cognate with Ancient Greek κλέος (kléos "fame"), as in the name Pericles, Latin clueō ("be called"), and English loud.

      Lol
      Those are facts 🙄
      First urban setllements, first agriculture, metalurgy, everything first in Vinca-Belgrade area before 7500 years
      And there were 1000 ancient documents about Serbs as oldest people
      But Germans Drang nach Osten masked Serbian history. They lied about European history because they want Serbian and Russian land
      And the crazy part that is Vinca only second. First was also in Serbia before 11.000 years ago Lepenski Vir civilization.
      That is proved with radio-carbon dated methodology
