I really enjoy listening to Liam read poetry. I hope and wish that one day Liam Neeson will record an audio book in which he recites his favorite poems. 2:30
I literally had that with my late father. I was frustrated he couldn’t keep up as I turned around it hit me like a rock. It hit me and then I had to come across this clip and then I started to bawl because I can’t tell how thanks and I love him one more time!
Stephen Rea and Liam. They keep the great man's voice alive. I really think that they should do an album of Heaney's greatest works (good luck with choosing them!). The world moves on, but great words stay where they are. Thank you Famous Seamus.
Beautiful sentiments by Liam Nesson on the works of the wonderful Seamus Heaney. I hope we can get to The Seamus Heaney Homeplace - once this pandemic ends......
I'm late to Seamus heaneys poetry but in my teens I borrowed a penguin book of Irish poetry, Brian merryman I seem to remember. The flow of imagery from language used beautifully and honestly. Ireland is s gift to the world. ❤
Music is a distraction to the words and subtle meanings. I love Liam Neeson and have taught Heaney for years. I'd love to hear this without music so the words can sit architecture bare against the sky of meaning.
Fabulous voice, imagery and of course poetry. I'm trying to create a poetry channel using no music... mmm maybe the music is necessary to set the scene.
Seamus Heaney is my great grandad ppl think he isnt but he is ppl will probably reply he is not related to u and I went threw a lot when I was younger so I did so yea
I wonder could we start a petition for Liam to do a reading of Seamus's poetry his voice is perfect for it
❤I would sign that immediately ❤

This video brings out the Irish in me.
Pity the music drowns out the words.
