It's interesting to see the difference between a lot of us who live in this part of Queensland and people who have moved here. I feel like we don't appreciate what we have as much as we probably should. I'm a race driver and by far the coolest part is having the Surfer Paradise street circuit. Cars on one side and beach on the other.

you should go to Main beach and try Petes fish market next to Marina Mirage then go out to the Spit, love the vlogs I have been living on th GC for 10 yrs it has so many amazing things to do !!! love your vlogs

Hi Guys. Koi restaurant in broadbeach is awesome. Lovely steaks. I feel the restaurants are better in Broadbeach than Surfers.

Try an Aldi Supermarket - really good also - German I think - we always pop in there when we come over for holidays - October this year can't wait

Marina mirage has lots of lovely restaurants on the water it’s in main beach next to palazzo Versace
Go to Longboards which is only a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of surfers they have amazing food drinks and it’s a beach bar atmosphere at the bottom of the Q1 resort. We will be there next week :-)

Greetings from NZ - we love coming to the GC for our holidays - You guys need to join Southport Sharks (cheap as) then you get discounts on food and beverages there - there Smorgasbord is fabulous for the price - we done there 2 or 3 times every holiday we come over - You will love it - check it out - Tony & Adele Lloyd New Zealand
Happy Birthday for the other day Matt, enjoying the content. Recommendation for Surfers Paradise, a great walk/run from where you are living:- Along the beach path to Narrowneck, cross over the road and foot bridge to MacIntosh Park, around the park then under the bridge at Jarraparilla Cove, footpath riverside of the JW Marriot to Budds Beach where you will find a great place to look at all the beautiful houses on the Nerang River and cafe Bumbles.

You guys will have to head to Charis Seafood in labrador, the Spit or Burleigh for descent fish and chips! My fav is at Burleigh (forgot the name, but it’s famous) then head up the hill to eat with a view! Perfecto 😜
Charis is foul...yuck. Pete's at the Spit, near Southport Yacht Club is the best.
