- How to construct an acceleration diagram for a linkage system. Part of Diploma/degree in engineering, New Zealand, NZ. By Steve Tomsett for CPIT. Also see Velocity diagram construction and other engineering videos by me.
These are extremely easy to understand, I don't understand why you don't have more videos.. :(
Yes, You're Correct!...Extremly A Good Lecture Video!
Good videos, sir, they've helped me a lot.
I recently got a job as a notetaker at a nearby college having got a degree forty years ago and then spent the interim forgetting all about it. I had to stand in for someone who was sick a couple of days ago in this subject and I struggled a bit. You're much better than the tutor, if I may say so and it's coming back to me now.
Best wishes.
thanks, for helping students all around the globe.
Finally a non-Indian instructor
that's true
been struggling with Indians for a while
Thank you Steve!! I was on the look out for such a neat and clear acceleration diagram!!
this is so freaking helpful, i was panicking already before i saw this video.
this is the best thing ive ever seen!!!!! plz more on more subjects!!
thank you.this really helped me a lot during end term.scored full marks in similar question
Thank u sir!! This video means a lot to me... U learnt me that one thing, tht my professor struggled for months... ;) :)
Hi, You can measure the angle if you want to be more accurate. But you need to remember that the answers you get are for only one point on the travel of the linkage system, so you may not get the value of max acceleration anyway because it may occure a few degrees later in the travel of the link. also, in general, Engineering is not that accurate, we make lots of assumptions and approximations. Steve
cheers steve, this was easy to follow!
Please !! upload some more videos regarding this subject and help us to achieve more knowledge .. thanx !!!!!!
Perfect Explanation!
thank you so much, you save my life!!
Like the way you explain sir
you make it easy..sir thanks
thanks for the tutorial.. i get it now..
Nice man.. Was useful
Perfect explaination
2018 thanks to this video! I am more confident for the exam tomorrow!
Thank you sir. For the video
Excelent explained thanks
thanq professor !
i got it now thank you sir
Thank you!
Hi It is scaled from the Acceleration diagram (between A and G)
Steve
thanks steve!
you had put point G on BC approximately but it has to be accurate by solving ratio of acceleration of bc/ acc. of gb = BC/BG .. so u will find acc. of gb and put it in acceleration diagram
we don't know where does is point to until we get the intersection of horizontal line AC. it was just drawn perpendicular to BC, not upwards or downwards. Hope it helps.
It was a good explanation but you should have used set square for more accurate results, anyways nice work buddy🙂
nice one
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kudos!!!
Hello there. I was just wondering why you are not measuring the angle where you transfer the line into the drawing. Since we have to measure the length of the line we draw, doesn't it have to be accurate ? How come you are not measuring the angle?
#Steve initially in the diagram it is shown radial component of acceleration of crank is towards the centre A, but while you drew the actual one it is shown directed away from A?Got that confusion for a long time. Thanks
hi, i am not to understand how did you manage to get the A^c as 6.35
thank you sir alot
Thank u very much
thank u sir!!
Thanks !!
Thank you..
hi steve i got Aga = 372 may ne that is because you were not using roller scale or set square..
Hi Steve, currently, working on a 4-bar mechanism. From what i have gathered, it is not possible to analyse a parallelogram (4th state of Grashof 's law) by graphical method? if so, is there another way? thanks.
thanks
Que Bakan, Thank You
ممكن شرح هذا السؤال باللغة العربية.. جزاكم الله خيرآ..
Hi there, I just got a quick question about the tangential acceleration at point c. How you know the tangential acceleration of point c is pointing upwards? or it doesnt really matter as long as you want to find out the magnitude of tangential acc point c? anyone? thanks xD
what s that ??? direction of angular acc of bc??
Do you know about analisis modal?
Hi!Steve how can I know the length of AcCB?
i know its late but i got you an answer, its from velocity diagram :)
Which cpit?
2:17 You cannot draw a parallel line like that...
ZenoDiac or just use a roll and draw
very good continue with another video to explain the theory of machines
Thumbs up if you are from
MU
+notshay monster university?
Great video but can't u just pronounce it square instead of squid🦑
thanks steve
you draw the 4.80 without scale then you scaled the 44.80 !!!!!!!!!!!!
