Work Matters

Work is God’s gift to humanity, even though many times it doesn’t feel that way. That means God created us for work and wants to be with us in our work-whether it is crunching numbers, writing code, manufacturing something, caring for people, or caring for the earth. So how do we discover the goodness of work and deal with all the challenges of work in a way that leads to that sense of fulfillment, even if what we do at work isn’t necessarily all that fun or meaningful? It starts by seeing how God thinks about us and work and how, maybe, we can view work through a different lense-God’s lense.
