That was one of the best qualifying sessions I’ve ever seen! Absolute full credit to Aleix what a trooper after that awful high side!

I'm hoping for a podium from La Bestia. I'm thinking for sure that El Diablo and Aleix will have podium finishes. Aleix and Maverick going 1-2 would be crazy!
The speed of modern Motogp bikes are just insane. I've been following motogp since 2008 and i remember back in 2013, the pole time was set by Marc Marquez at 2 minutes something and i thought it was already crazy fast. Today, everyone did it below 2 minutes and the pole time is 1:57
And top speed is 340,6 kmh with desmocedici gp21 Enea

So it’s taken 3 years in Bike technology, power and tire advancements to beat MM93 lap by 1.709 seconds and MM93 isn’t racing at present as no doubt he would’ve beaten it again as he did in 2017 by 0.465 sec in 2019… on the same bike..!
Like all records, they will be beaten eventually no matter how long between the times of achieving them…
This just proves how good Marquez still is..And everyone still hates him because he was too good back in his days.Young Marquez would smoke 70% of the new riders on the grid he is one of the best ever for a reason

No, he’d smoke every single one of them on the grid, he’s the best rider since entering MotoGP, even taught Lorenzo a thing or two..!! Even the few races he did this year he was only with his half man ability riding with one arm he won races and always ended up in the top 5….
