Nice one Luke. What region are you in? I'm in Nelson and wanna try grow a banana tree. Can you suggest a variety? We get a few frosts here but quite warm days even in winter. 🙂
just give it a go mitsi luki is the hardiest for here with wind and frosts but also blue java is sposeto be a cold tolerant variety we live in Northland in Whangarei but should be similar climates and we also get some light frosts here so yeah give it a go

Pears are ready when they come away from tree easily, they continue to ripen inside so they dont have to be perfectly ripe when harvesting. Cool tour.
oh thats good to know we always fail with our pears or it might be bruno knocks them off and eats them before us lol
cute naming the areas like that
yeah i wanted to have the kids a bit more involved in the food forest and feel like they are having an impact on the area
Much love xoxox

Permaculture stuff - is sorely lacking in American UA-cam homesteads
Do I count 6 kids? Such a great family. Oh, 7. I’m so sorry.
we had 7 kids sadly 1 has passed away 2 years ago and yes i do agree we need more permaculture everywere
Be cool to have a donkey
yes it would be cooler to have ostriches though lol
