I absolutely love this video and came back for nostalgia reasons. It also reminded me of how much I miss old Critikal. When no one knew what he looked like and that was honestly part of his charm too. You only needed his voice, and you'd fall in love with the guy's videos. It was also when he would only upload videos maybe one or twice a month, but the videos were always hilarious. He'd play some random game and just go about his unique style of commentary, which this video always captured perfectly. While I'm happy for Critikal that he is so popular and successful now, his content these days just doesn't hit the same. It's hard to describe it without sounding negative like "Oh, it's so mainstream now." But whatever it is nowadays, it just isn't really for me. And looking at the comments, I can tell I'm not the only one. It's sad to me, personally, that I just don't enjoy or care for the content he makes nowadays. If you told me back then that I'd unsubscribe, I'd tell myself I must've gone crazy. But it's true... I've re-subscribed to Critikal, on and off again. Trying to give his new stuff a chance. I'll sit there and watch his vids, and while it's not ALL bad and some stuff is still kinda funny, it's never for me. I always end up un-subscribing again because his videos will just flood my subscription page of stuff I couldn't care to watch. Hell, I remember trying to find the old videos on his channels one time. I was trying to find his Slenderman game video and figured once I found it, I'd watch all the other stuff he released at that time. But I remember sitting there, scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling.... Like "Man, how much content does he make now?". I felt like i was scrolling for 15 minutes before I gave up. (I ended up just searching baring it, but the "recommend content" tab from doing that would ONLY show his newer stuff. I wanted to see all his old stuff side-by-side on his channel, so it was easier to binge, anyway...) Maybe it really is just me getting older, and maybe I've just simply outgrew his content. Maybe nothing has really changed, and it really is the same kinda stuff he made back then (besides the obvious new stuff like his reviews and such). Regardless, it definitely feels like its not the same as it was before. I'm sure someone people, long-time fans and current fans, would tell me his current stuff is still like his old stuff, if not better! But I just don't see it.. I guess this is just a classic example, of a very personal case, of "All good things come to an end". Anyway, if you actually managed to read this whole thing, props to you. I was on a roadtrip recently and passing through Rosewell, NM. It was late, our driver running on energy drinks, and we were looking for a IHOP that a billboard had promised us to sate our hunger. The sign made it seem as though we would've just exited the highway and there would be the pancakery, but no. The IHOP ended up being about ten minutes down the main street. During that ten minutes, neon lights played with my hopes, I was starting to believe that the IHOP may not exist, and if it did, it was probably closed. Just before arriving, tired, emotionally drained, and slightly delirious, I mutter under my breath to the driver, battling fits of energy, "If they're closed, I am just going shit my fuck." A less apt driver would have crashed if they were laughing as hard as him. While parking the car, still trying to regain his breath, he wheezed out, "You can't just say thing like that while I'm driving!"
