Route Details: Varkala - Thekkadi - Theni - Poombarai kodaikanal

This time finally introducing Charlie - My Ride buddy. Narration is experimental as i love story telling. He speaks Kannada while i ride and narrate in English on most of the part.
From Varkala, did a sudden plan and started riding towards Kodaikanal around 12PM after having brunch at varkala.
Even though it was just 350 KM it took a 9 hours to reach Kodaikanal ( Zostel Poombarai, Kodai ).
kodaikanal bike ride was an mazing experience for me. One suggestion to all the riders taking kodaikanal trip , please be cautious on the ghat section as the curves are too tight ( Not the U type curves, some are deadly L type corners )
This bike ride to kodaikanal is just a beginning of the kodai series ( Day 3 ) of me reaching Poombarai ( well known landmark here is Poondi ). From here I will be riding to Kodaikanan Main city the next morning. So stay tuned for that! You will love it :)

Can you please tell us about your Motovlog helmet setup?
There will be a video on it soon. But for now the accessories I use are helmet - bluarmor chin mount - j mount from yantraley - GoPro - GoPro mic Adapter - Maono au 400 mic placed near cheeks. Nothing fancy 🤝

I had bought the Axor helmet, the venom graphics ones. I felt it was heavy and not so easy to look sideways to check the traffic.
Is the one you are using comfortable?
@@desiEasyCooking mine is axor Apex glossy black. 1600gm in weight. But yeah, it's alright. Most 22.050 certified helmets come in same weight range. There are other ones like LS2 vector/storm2 models which are of little low weight (1400gm) but little expensive ( 10k~ ) . Don't know about the SMK models so not commenting on that 🙂

Hay Kartik , I just bought a re 350 hunter , I am planning on starting a yt channel too. My goal is to travel the world with my bike. But I have no friends and I am too inexperienced of a rider to do long distance alone. Can we be friends? I hope we can do trips together in the future, once I gain more confidence. Basically no one wants to take a new ride with them ( because we are slow). Anyways even if you are not interested in riding with me in the future we can still be friends right?
Hey Kaustav. Congratulations on the new ride.
First 500kms are important ( break in period) so ride slowly 🤝. As a rider it's everything about mental capability. Do some small rides. Even 200kms in 2 days is also fine. But start riding. Get a good helmet, boots and gloves. Once you build that relationship with your bike you get the confidence you will never depend on the group ride. Trust me. Slowly like minded people will connect with you. That's the bikers journey in a nutshell.
