RB, would u use a Bosch Alternator to replace if u can't get 1 from the dealer ?
If it says carquest it’s not advance auto parts. If it says duralast it’s from Autozone. When it comes to alternator and starter you want to stick with oem or denso
@@goodguygto oem is a just a way to say OEM arhat fits dosent mean it’s original
Is your shop in South Jersey? I need my alternator replaced on a 2017 honda accord
I replaced the battery sensor and turned the car on let it run for a minute. The light is still on should it have gone away right away if it was the sensor that was bad or do I need to let it run longer?
I had one car it took about 4-5 key cycles and 20-30 minutes of running time then it went away what did u replace? If u got after marker alternator it will never go away
I have a 2015 Honda Civic went through two alternators .changed most of my ground wires but still having issues with check charge system light coming on headlights flickering . Even changed the sensor on the battery. But still having flickering in the headlights and dome light. Is this all because it's not a Honda alternator because of aftermarket alternator
This requires original alternator also battery could be weak and not holding charge
@@RBTheMechanic well the battery is new . I hope changing the alternator works.
@@bjselts2052 check the second connector on the alternator I don't know if yours is a single terminal or 3 terminal but check to see any corrosion or damage on the wires as that can cause that check charge system error too just did a 2013 Honda accord and that was the issue
I have been dealing with this problem for over a year. I watched part one, swapped out the alternator and battery, and sensor. First 2 alternators were bad and alt number 3 lasted almost a year until last week. I swapped out the alternate and battery again this week. Car was fine for first few days, the charge system error just came back on and car actually almost dies out now when in drive…Could this be a bad ground? I’m so frustrated with this car.
Still having the "Check Charge System" light popping up every 3-4 days after taking it in to the Honda services center. I replaced my battery and battery sensor. Honda checked the alternator, battery, and fuses, nothing is wrong but the light still pops up! Do I need to replace my alternator if they find no problem with it? I'm so lost and frustrated with this problem 😭
@@bjselts2052yes, I had a bad alternator and replaced it, my car works just fine now.
