    • @halfbreed4life62
      @halfbreed4life62 Рік тому +12

      @@technophobe7067 And his humbleness & the humility in him. He saw himself as not as everyone thought of him. To him he was just a man graced with a gift from God. That's why he created George Michael...to protect Yog from the world. His mother gave him that ability Leslie was an astounding woman. She wasn't into worldly possessions. She could have been happy on the smallest of money. It didn't matter to her. She was happy knowing people, her family was highly important to her, but she worked hard to make her husband happy. That's a hard life to balance & even tho she mislead Yog sometimes, but it was done for the love she had for him. No matter how she did it. She made a man that was like an Angel on this earth. Never said this b4 to anyone. But,cousin Leslie you're top notch in my book. The son and daughters you left behind followed in your footsteps and were Angels to everyone around them.
      Most people don't know the secrets Yog had for helping people. The money he "slipped" to all the faltering churches.
      I've heard people say that Yog wasn't religious. But, you didn't really know him if you thought that. He would have long conversations with God.
      He loved old churches and I'll bet he still does.
      He was a Angel on earth. He gave away so much of his money. Simply because he thought that God gave him too much. That he should help people in need.
      Oh the things he did to do it without anyone knowing that it was him. Like getting a bunch of cash & dividing it out in plain envelopes with the Church's name & sometimes the caretakers. And...he'd have Alex sneak to these Churches & slide the envelopes under the caretaker's door.
      Or sneaking & paying for someone he love's surgery or hospital stay.
      There was no end to how much money he tried to put into people in need hands.
      I really could go on & on about how sneaky he was..like he saw this woman broke down on the road crying. He sent a friend back with money to pay to fix her car...more than enough in fact. The only rule being that they not know where the money came from.
      He liked to keep his secrets. So he would mislead with a different story..to stay ahead of ppl finding out!!!

    GM Infonet, who are you!!!? These last days I've watched so many bits of GM interviews that you have posted. They are priceless and I am so grateful to you (and yes, also curious 🤭).
    This particular interview almost breaks my heart - listening to GM in the documentary 'Freedom' I've felt so confused, suspecting that it wasn't really him talking, but listening to this interview has convinced me that it really was. Now able to listen, really listen, to what he says I realise that in his mind his active career was well and truly over - no more music was to come. We are all so lucky to live now, to still be able to enjoy all the amazing music he created.

    I feel, I think, that Favaz was a big burden for him, because even though he sent him away, he kept going back, it was like a boomerang. He didn't want to leave the gold mine. He was George's guardian rather than companion. He blackmailed the family after George's death!
    The other gold miner was Kenny, who also blackmailed (in court) George's father, even though George left him nothing.
    I don't know why George's father gave in to blackmail? What is it that we don't know yet, and what would change if we found out? George was a beautiful man and a wonderful singer, songwriter, etc. We love it the way it is!
    I just hope that these old people disappear for good, but I also don't want George's father - who remarried and did not respect his son's wishes - to be buried in that grave.

    • @ChloeR-vt4bh
      @ChloeR-vt4bh 3 місяці тому

      I think you’re mistaken about Kenny blackmailing George’s dad. As I understand it, Kenny had been receiving monthly allowance from George right up to his death. Kenny was therefore considered a dependant and claimed against George’s estate as such. It wasn’t blackmail. Whether he deserved it or not is another matter.
      I don’t understand your comment about George’s dad not respecting his wishes? George and his dad had a good relationship for years. Though their relationship was difficult in his teenage years, it improved progressively as George got older. George stated in interviews that his dad loved him and had been very supportive when George came out to his family after Anselmo died.
      Where his father is buried is a matter for his family. Not for anyone else.
