      @@orguitar1 Yet you don't provide ONE example. You have that opinion because you don't like what he says. You not liking what he says doesn't serve as evidence he's a propagandist. You probably eat up what a true propagandist like Sean Hannity says. He's a propagandist who doesn't have any journalistic credentials. None! You may like his baseless conspiracies and easily debunked lies but in reality that won't turn him into an actual news reporter.

    Nobody seemed to notice that Acosta wasn't asking a question. He was taking issue over a word and wanted to shove his interpretation down Trump's throat. There was no journalism involved, what was he going to report? The POTUS disagrees with me and I can't change his mind? Little Jimmy behaved like a spoilt brat and got treated like one.

    I also don't agree with the statement "the right is radicalized because of Trump". The right isn't that radical. For instance, one of Trump's most extreme policies, the wall, isn't far off at all from the mainstream left a decade ago.

    8:13 this is the way it always was supposed to be Joe. States should have supreme power UNLESS the relinquish that power to the Feds. Each State could actually have their own ideology in play (ie: if you want universal health care, enact it in your State; if you don't want abortion, outlaw it at the State level, etc.) Unfortunately these days people look to their Federal government for these kinds of things, when it should be the State's job to provide those things. What your left with is Federal government making decisions for everyone...and it should be obvious that the needs of someone in Wisconsin are much different than someone living in California.

    • @AM-dc7pv
      @AM-dc7pv 4 роки тому

      Yes, limited state sovereignty due to differences in populace, situation and circumstances was in spirit in a lot of the constitution and the way it was worded and written even down to the codification of state level control of their own militias, e.g. current day state's national guards and their reserves, by very intelligent men with quite a bit of forethought and their scriptures fundamentally applicable in its [original] verbiage even to this day...something that the Founding Fathers, I think frankly, do not receive enough credit for in current times. The state's individual strengths of it's own coalesced populations of different people and reflected in the nation's strengths and resilience of these amalgamations of all the things that all these combined bodies of people bring to the table is what allows this country to be a frontrunner is so many fields of human advancement today. People forget and forego that even, for a level of consistency from local to Federal level which, I think in a way dilutes our strengths and resilience by artificially restricting ourselves in a way to limitations or weaknesses present in places and absent in others for some things. I think that the show's guest is correct on this point of some things should be reverted or rolled back to a more individual aspect of governance with respect to each populations' sui generis. Atleast, in my opinion.

    How can even for a minute joe say Sanders acts like a rude school teacher!? That told me instantly he doesn’t ever watch the press conferences, he simply sees selected clips people have shown him. Joes an honest guy and would not say that shit had he known the truth. Everybody knows and it’s a simple very clear fact that from day one the media has treated sanders as if she’s hitlers right hand. FACT. She does an outstanding job every day handling those rude, pompous, hostile, mean, disrespectful and hateful mobsters that call themselves the “media”. The average American would have gone after those reporters by now, she is very special, very calm. Joe himself would have jumped down from that podium if that was one of his lady employees and handled that puke, Acosta. Joe is a really stand up guy but I get so irritated when ppl say shit when they really don’t know the truth. I also hate when ppl know the truth but still play both sides of the fence so they don’t offend. F that.

      There is a net loss that is the result of states being bound together in ways never intended by the Founding Fathers. The separation ensures that the costs of bad policy are incurred by those responsible... and therefore corrections happen before the whole country goes under.

      --2- Infighting is always inevitable. People will always find something else to disagree on.
      It's not about disagreeing, it's about people desiring to impose their will on others when it's easier to not give a fuck and just not have power over one another. You cannot expect an empire of hundreds of millions of people of different beliefs, cultures, races, etc to hold together for long. This can all either crash and burn, or it can be resolved peacefully and we go our separate ways. It will break before it bends.

    During Q&As with the President or WH Press Secretary, it isn't at all uncommon for reporters to continue asking follow-up questions even after the next reporter has been called upon. It happens ALL THE TIME.
    This idea that Acosta was trying to hog the mic completely ignores the fact that this is incredibly common behavior among the reporters covering the WH. They're always trying to get in that last question, and often, the follow-ups they squeeze in (however pushy) get answered. So they continue to do it.
    But bottom line is, there's nothing strange about what Acosta did (in asking the follow-ups). For some reason Joe and lots of others want to single him out for violating "decorum" but this happens at virtually every WH press briefing.

    The flip in journalism from news to infotainment did NOT happen with 60 Minutes. Or Nightline. Or Meet the Press. It happened with CNN deciding to go to a 24 hour news cycle. They had to fill airtime and they had to attract viewers for advertisers to pay the bills. That required personalities and opinion shows. To their credit, for a very short while they tried to maintain there credibility, and most of the day and into the evening they did mostly news. Except there just wasn't 24 hours of actual news. There still isn't. Prior to that the News divisions for ANY of the networks were never really expected to be profitable. It was all part of the zeitgeist that came out of Mtv.

It wasn’t just Acosta asking multiple questions. The press is trying to keep the WH honest and Trump will not be honest and will continue to lie and act like a big baby.
