We already had separate “countries.” We were designed to be autonomous states that chose to band together for certain tasks. Unfortunately, the federal government has gotten more and more powerful, leading to this conflict. If we stripped down the federal government to its basic duties and allowed local cities and states to decide how they want to live, the conflict would dissipate.

@@valb.1848 "2- Infighting is always inevitable. People will always find something else to disagree on." What? By this logic there should be one world government. Degrees matter. It's disturbing to read the comments to a video like this. The lack of support for free inquiry, critical thinking, open debate is unnerving. The support for anti-intellectualism, tribalism and bullying, on the other hand, is so tangible that I get the sense that the US is slowly crumbling into a very dark place right before our eyes.
During Q&As with the President or WH Press Secretary, it isn't at all uncommon for reporters to continue asking follow-up questions even after the next reporter has been called upon. It happens ALL THE TIME. This idea that Acosta was trying to hog the mic completely ignores the fact that this is incredibly common behavior among the reporters covering the WH. They're always trying to get in that last question, and often, the follow-ups they squeeze in (however pushy) get answered. So they continue to do it. But bottom line is, there's nothing strange about what Acosta did (in asking the follow-ups). For some reason Joe and lots of others want to single him out for violating "decorum" but this happens at virtually every WH press briefing.
@@xxwert8027 This happens all the time and has happened to all the presidents (including Obama). Not the first time a reporter has been pushy to a prez. Get over it snowflake.
I am really tired of journalists who only try to trip politicians up. They can do that for themselves. They are insulting my intelligence by assuming I cannot judge what they say for myself. Give them honest questions then give them space and give respect or go stand yourself.
"The acrimony will only get worse." Boy, was Michael right. This quote is seeming to be future-predicting, here in 7/21. He couldn't have been more spot on with that one...
I've been asking that question for years, and it's a serious one. Is there a reason that Trump doesn't simply say, "look here, if you can't behave and civil in the White House during a press conference, you will be removed and never allowed the privilege to come back". Is there a reason why rude reporters aren't just told to fuck off?
I think Joe and his guess were missing the fact that TONS of reporters are yelling, pressing hard for their question(s), and pushing back when they feel that the answer is unsatisfactory... this is very commonplace. The thing that isn't commonplace is when the White House accuses a reporter of battering a staffer when it wasn't the case.
The flip in journalism from news to infotainment did NOT happen with 60 Minutes. Or Nightline. Or Meet the Press. It happened with CNN deciding to go to a 24 hour news cycle. They had to fill airtime and they had to attract viewers for advertisers to pay the bills. That required personalities and opinion shows. To their credit, for a very short while they tried to maintain there credibility, and most of the day and into the evening they did mostly news. Except there just wasn't 24 hours of actual news. There still isn't. Prior to that the News divisions for ANY of the networks were never really expected to be profitable. It was all part of the zeitgeist that came out of Mtv.
Every reporter was asking 2-3 questions, it’s a reporters job to ask those questions and when Trump dodges questions the reporter can’t do his or her job. It wasn’t just Acosta asking multiple questions. The press is trying to keep the WH honest and Trump will not be honest and will continue to lie and act like a big baby. Be Presidential, answer questions not just the ones you like. If you can answer the tough questions like you should, then the respect follows along with respect from the press. Clearly Joe and this guy didn’t watch the press conference
CNN would never send someone else. nothing matters but ratings. Ratings are more important than the truth. Because ratings = money. The news says what sells. It is entertainment. Not news.

I pause the video to State my opinion that Sarah Sanders is not the venom spitting instigator. She walks into the lions den everyday cut her some slack.
True, very stressful job
We already had separate “countries.” We were designed to be autonomous states that chose to band together for certain tasks. Unfortunately, the federal government has gotten more and more powerful, leading to this conflict. If we stripped down the federal government to its basic duties and allowed local cities and states to decide how they want to live, the conflict would dissipate.
Joe I have to say that I love how unbiased you are towards political issues. I don’t know if it’s to make sure you don’t piss one side off and lose viewers, or if you are just a true independent. I hope it’s the second one because I find it absolutely fascinating that in todays day and age we have something that isn’t polluted with bias. Thanks and god bless

The press shouldn’t act like children if they don’t want to be treated like children.
Joe doesn’t follow one political ideology.
Thats why he is able to view the world in an objective way, without tribalistic mechanisms limiting his perspective.
I think he just is truly fascinated by each side and is willing to be open minded but i know what you mean
He actually makes a really good point of un-uniting the US.
Like Ben said Jim Acosta loves him some Jim Acosta lol
As a Floridian, I for one welcome our new Texan overlords.
Anything would be an improvement over what we have running Florida now
Jim Acosta" he came out thinking he was the spider but ended up becoming the fly.
He's a parasite!
He's a biatch! Only biatch talk like that. Lmao
So edgy, wearing a Kim Jong-il/Kim Jong Un t-shirt.
I'm almost convinced he's wearing it ironically.
Kayleigh is sooo refreshing compared to all other Washington spokesmen!!
Trump's doing a great job, IMO, will definitely be voting for him this time.
Did Rogan watch the GD presser? Trump came out swinging.
Don't touch the Mike, baby, dont come near it.
It's gonna get cha
How can even for a minute joe say Sanders acts like a rude school teacher!? That told me instantly he doesn’t ever watch the press conferences, he simply sees selected clips people have shown him. Joes an honest guy and would not say that shit had he known the truth. Everybody knows and it’s a simple very clear fact that from day one the media has treated sanders as if she’s hitlers right hand. FACT. She does an outstanding job every day handling those rude, pompous, hostile, mean, disrespectful and hateful mobsters that call themselves the “media”. The average American would have gone after those reporters by now, she is very special, very calm. Joe himself would have jumped down from that podium if that was one of his lady employees and handled that puke, Acosta. Joe is a really stand up guy but I get so irritated when ppl say shit when they really don’t know the truth. I also hate when ppl know the truth but still play both sides of the fence so they don’t offend. F that.
So nation states should only exist by dint of the complete cultural consensus of their inhabitants? What utter nonsense.
PELKEY1986 how would that work exactly?
Would the strongest economies be bound to pay into federal taxes still?
Would they each be able to afford their own soc security or military programs?
What about individual alliances? Do you forbid Russian Military based within continental US?
Do we split all the military bases we have around the world or leave vacuums?
Two things:
1-The collective unity of the US ensures it's relevance in the world stage.
2- Infighting is always inevitable. People will always find something else to disagree on.
@ Val
"People will always find something else to disagree on"
I disagree. 😋 sorry. It had to be done.
Multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-ethnic empires will always rise as republics, fall, and then break up. During the fall before the break up, people will always act clueless, swear it will never break up, completely fail to learn from history. Nations last, empires don't.
@@valb.1848 "2- Infighting is always inevitable. People will always find something else to disagree on." What? By this logic there should be one world government. Degrees matter.
Do you not understand the concept of boundaries? Look at the difference between the US and Mexico. If the two countries amalgamated, what do you think would happen?
There is a net loss that is the result of states being bound together in ways never intended by the Founding Fathers. The separation ensures that the costs of bad policy are incurred by those responsible... and therefore corrections happen before the whole country goes under.
This shouldn't be hard to understand.
@@valb.1848 --Would the strongest economies be bound to pay into federal taxes still?
Why would they? They're part of the Union, they pay. They're not, they don't.
--Would they each be able to afford their own soc security or military programs?
Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, unsustainable and immoral. Fuck that. As for a military, defense is cheaper than offense, and the U.S is on maximum offense right now and suffering for it. This World Police moralization bullshit is a joke and everyone knows it.
--What about individual alliances? Do you forbid Russian Military based within continental US?
Whateva whateva
--Do we split all the military bases we have around the world or leave vacuums?
All foreign bases closed, everything and everyone returns home. No more empire.
--1-The collective unity of the US ensures it's relevance in the world stage.
There is no unity, and empires fall whether you want them to or not. How is "relevance in the world stage" a measure of national well being? Who gives a fuck?
--2- Infighting is always inevitable. People will always find something else to disagree on.
It's not about disagreeing, it's about people desiring to impose their will on others when it's easier to not give a fuck and just not have power over one another. You cannot expect an empire of hundreds of millions of people of different beliefs, cultures, races, etc to hold together for long. This can all either crash and burn, or it can be resolved peacefully and we go our separate ways. It will break before it bends.
Mark Dice video at the White House was priceless.
Donald Trump interrupts people all the time, just because he is the president doesn’t justify it. In my view, the president should be an example of someone that is professional. I’m not a fan of the Obama presidency, but at least he was well spoken and had class
Mikey Moff well spoken > being true to yourself. Got it!
Trump answered 3 questions from Acosta and said he was done and he kept going on like an idiot.
Why would CNN want anyone else? He is thr perfect embodiment of CNN. 😂

Kim speaks English very well.
I believe he was educated in Europe, so I imagine he speaks a few languages.
Joe: What makes you think it's gonna get worse?
2020: Lol
Damn Joe...smh
There is ALWAYS one person that will fuck it up for everybody.
The “press” never treated Clinton or Obama this way. And those two sucked big time.
I am really tired of journalists who only try to trip politicians up. They can do that for themselves. They are insulting my intelligence by assuming I cannot judge what they say for myself. Give them honest questions then give them space and give respect or go stand yourself.
Kim Chong Un studied in Switzerland, so he pretty sure knows English.

Boy, was Michael right. This quote is seeming to be future-predicting, here in 7/21. He couldn't have been more spot on with that one...
Acosta was spewing his NPC programming and Trump was sick of hearing it.
4:19 Joe describing the plot of "Anchorman: Part 2"
So fucking glad this guest mentioned John Adams and Abraham Lincoln. They both pretty much said "fuck the 1st Amendment" in hopes of avoiding war.
Jim Acosta now.....? He needs to be yelling at King BIDEN.
When journalists are held at a higher standard than the president lmfao
Kim Jong speak's english, he studied in Switzerland.
7.2k people disliked this video...that's almost the entirety of CNN's audience.
Joes guest is solid as hell! Dope shit!
Spends 7 minutes detailing how the press are acting like children.
I don't like that Sarah Sanders is acting like a school teacher!
She acts like a teacher because the reporters act like a bunch of little kids
I think Joe and his guess were missing the fact that TONS of reporters are yelling, pressing hard for their question(s), and pushing back when they feel that the answer is unsatisfactory... this is very commonplace. The thing that isn't commonplace is when the White House accuses a reporter of battering a staffer when it wasn't the case.
Once you see how lopsided Joe is wearing his headphones, you can’t unsee it.
Invite Jim Acosta on to your show and interrupt him every chance possible
He asked a question, the president gave a vauge evasive answer and the president didn't want to actually be accountable.
Wrong, watch the press conference. They all yell stuff out after the question after they are cut off. This is typical behavior for journalists.
Not for nothing but the press is acting like a bunch of 7th graders.
Sara Sanders is a tough person dealing with a pit of snakes.. she is awesome..
Acosta is not reporting... he's not asking questions he expects to be answered. He is saying look at me... see how smart I am. See how noble I am.
Not news.
calling Acosta a journalist is like calling mickey mouse an actor.
