Anna is such a GREAT artist... ♥️ I knew her performances of Rachmaninoff's concertos, but not this Sonata (which is one of my favourite classical pieces). This one is as good as Pogorelich's!
This is such an incredible and beautiful sonata by Scriabin I’m surprised I’ve never heard it before. The quality of this Steinway and the musician is exceptional!
LE PIANO A TOUJOURS ÉTÉ, UN INSTRUMENT NEUTRE. C 'EST L 'ARTISTE, QU' AVEC SA SENSIBILITÉ ET SENSUSALITÉ, NOUS TRANSMETTENT UN ÉLAN ROMANTIQUE, QUI NOUS FAIT: RÊVER...!!! Fui... Salvador-Bahia-Brasil.
Fabulous piano skills and astonishing musicianship is passionately displayed by the beautiful "princess of the piano", Ms. Anna Fedorova...!!! BRAVISSIMA, dear Anna!!! P. S. Your video masterfully employs wonderful lighting and creative camerawork, at such an amazing and unique venue! Bravo, to your video-recording crew, as well!
Awesome Anna! That Steinway seems to have more sustain resonance than I've heard on any other pianos. Is that mostly/entirely the piano, or is it the room reverb also factoring in? Listening to non-sustain parts such as at 8:37, there doesn't appear to be much reverb being added from the room, so I'm guessing the sustain resonance is all or mostly from the piano itself..!? Very nice sounding...loving the resonance!
A fine performance, but the recording technician did her no favors. It seems that the way recording is miked...e.g. right inside of or adjacent to piano...we lose some of the sonority. The first movement really lacks that dream-like quality I think because the mic sounds like it is right next to the hammers and strings. Capturing the acoustics of a hall can really add to the effect and enjoyment of the performance.
I agree...when she hits that low B octave at 2:41 it sounds just awful...should be a powerful statement in the key of B major but it doesn’t do anything

Beautiful and So Talented Lady!!!
One of my favorites. Brilliant performance, Anna!
Molt be, Anna.
Si fa ascoltare all'infinito.

Capturing and bright
This is such a difficult sonata to play! Here nicely played!
2nd mvt. -- 7:49
fenomenal!
Repito: Anna transcende.
beautiful woman🥰
Bravo

Every piano Anna plays on has this big, rich sound....
❤👍👍
Russia has many hidden treasures, didn't know this sonata - and Anna uau... what mastery !
Ukranian!
The sonata comes from Russia ( Scriabin )
This women is a cobra and a mongoose. Powerful interpretation. Slayer! All she does is attack. So cool.
Interesting voicing
PQP

The piano sounds rather jaded, wonder when it was last tuned. Anna Federova is worthy of a far better instrument.

@@randykern1842 (Edited)
@@randykern1842 I noticed that too. It's my favorite moment in the whole piece :(. I think she might've missed a note there though.
