My interpretation:
The woman recorded herself getting inside of an oven and then got out. Then, the woman incapacitated her victim and recorded them struggling inside the oven. Finally, the woman removed the ending of the first clip and spliced the two recordings together to make it look like a suicide so that she wouldn’t be caught.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Cool to see one of these videos that isn't really inherently paranormal at all.
This makes the most sense. If this were real, the detectives could simply show the first part of the tape to the woman's neighbors to see if they recognise her. That way they would have their culprit.

What if the body of the woman in the found footage had been removed after the battery went dead and the body of the woman found in the oven was just another victim that hadn't been recorded going into the oven?
It's supposed to be only one tape, remember this was in the 80's. What i think it happened is that she was a witch and made a ritual to change her place with her victim.

What does this comment even mean? I’m not trying to be rude, I see you’re just trying to be nice and compliment the uploader. But the wording about how they just “pop up”, drop a video, and “then dip again” is what I’m confused about. Isn’t that what UA-camrs do? They drop videos, and then you don’t hear from them again until they drop another video, right? Like what would the alternative be? How would they, a random person who uploads vids on UA-cam whom you don’t know/doesn’t know you, do anything aside from “dip” between videos?
@twinktoesx I suppose the wording might not be understandable to everyone to an extent, but the type of content surkee creates does take a long time to produce and if the common viewer doesn't actively watch his channel on a daily basis then for all intents and purposes he does just "pop up" and he would "dip again", not just to make sfms for youtube but to also go about his life.

You gotta love these shorter creepypastas like this, they really capture that "I know a guy who knows a guy" side of an urban legend/spooky story.
Maybe it's just me but the horror in this was so unusual, not in a bad way though. Nothing jumps out at you and the details of what actually happened are very ambiguous. I guess why it works so well is that there is so much mystery behind it. The ending was very unsettling. Amazing video!
How was the oven turned off and how did that VHS tape get there?
@@F.R.E.D.D2986 ovens don't just stay on. They stop after a few minutes depending on the time set. Also that's the problem, nobody knows. That's part of the horror.

Its very hard to believe on how did the tape ended up seeing at the very bottom of the well after the woman committed suicide inside the oven, despite no other subjects was involved in the scene besides the woman itself and the fact that the body doesn't match the victim in the video is very mysterious

I’m assuming, since the women in the oven and the one in the video are different heights, that the woman filming can switch places with people? And she uses that power to kill people in horrible ways, that’s also how she retrieves the video tape, and why the oven starts shaking violently

The DNA test would have probably reveal if it's the same person or not. Most likely the woman was just suicidal and/or had some sort of mental disorder. Someone took advantage of that, and told her what to do. Maybe she wasn't even suicidal, but was told this will help her or whatever. Then once the pain from unbearable heat activated self preservation instinct, she tried to get out, but could not. The accomplice then took the tape, and placed it in a well. I'm pretty sure they are a psychopath, as they wanted to tape to be found. Which basically means it is a sort of a game for them, whereas if they wanted to get away with a murder, they would have probably left the tape as it would make the case seem more of an act of suicide. That or, they went for the tape to make sure it did not have anything to pin point to the bigger picture. But, because they did not want to go back to the scene of crime, for a chance to leave any clues, they dumped the tape in a dried well just close enough for it to be found.
If the DNA would reveal that these women are indeed two different people, then chances are they were part of some sort of a sick cult, which basically brainwashed these women in to getting inside the oven like that whiles recording themselves, and then same story. Your mind can hold your believes up to a point until your preservation instincts kick in. The members of the cult then took the tape and placed it in such a way, that it would hold only more questions than answers. Basically putting tape from first victim, to a scene of crime of another.
Without knowing the backstory or mental history of the woman in the story, it's not really possible to say. But I'm pretty sure, that this is how the investigation would go on. They would basically be searching for a murder. They would most likely also advice about a possible murderer on the loose and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the local police, while also staying vigilant. And only once some time passes without anything related to the crime happening, case would be closed as an act of suicide.
At the very least this is my take on this story. I kind a like it, that it has creepy mystery to it, as well as also seems like a possible thing. Just unfortunate it was so short.

Maybe there was a second person who found out about the murder and the killer killed them and put their body in the oven and took the other body somewhere else!
I like to think the person who found the tape was her lover. They wanted no one to ever see the contents of the tape so threw it down the well. If she was mentally unstable and they were responsible for her wellbeing, the lover would then flee to avoid a negligent homicide verdict. She's probably a societal reject with no family to look after her except for her lover, which is very common for the homeless but is also true for the elderly. You'd be surprised how many houses are just outright abandoned in the countryside after an elderly person dies with no family to cease their estate. It's a real thing. So for me, this whole story holds and ugly amount of plausibility to it. This could happen.
Yall overthinked it, the reason the whole thing is eerie is because the real lore is the one who recorded the tape is the killer, she's 5'6 foot tall according from the police from the video tape, the woman that was burned in the oven is 5'2 foot tall. How did she do it? She had superpowers to switch place with anyone.
Being trapped in an hot enclosed space that cooks you alive, is my worst nightmare and a fate worst than death.

I didn't know that SFM creepypastas could be as enjoyable as watching a movie ! I adore your style of animation, narration, environments, etc ... By the way, my favorite creepypasta of your's is "If you're armed at the Glenmont metro, please shoot me". I adored the story, I depicted very well the fact that his boredom was unbearable and imaginable for us. I like this one a lot too, it's everything that a good creepypasta is, unsettling, mysterious and makes us ask many questions once it ends ! Also I feel like people don't really know how much a midly detailed animation like yours (I mean by that that it doesn't look realistic when you look at the materials and meshes), because as someone who is pretty familiar with 3D (like blender and SFM), I can see how much work you put into your animations each time. Keep up the good work Surkee :) !

My theory, This person somehow has the ability to swap places between universe or with other people. Instead of using it for things like fun, she used it for Murder. This theory is very stupid but it’s really the only thing I got from the shaking oven.

Also, I think that it is implied that someone murdered the woman. The murderer probably faked the tape to make it look like a suicide, then stuff the murdered woman into the oven.

Theory: a murderer held a woman at gunpoint and made her record the tape of her getting into the oven, saying if she managed to escape she would be spared, then afterwards disposed of it in the well as the audio messed up and didn’t record (not knowing the well was dry). Then he got another victim, got the sound to record this time and then took the video out to distribute on the black market.

Theory :
The woman was haunted by an entity who tries to take control of her body. One day, she was tired of it and decided to let the thing getting control over her. But before that, she record herself to give proof to anyone about what happened to her and givz clues about why she done this. After record, she went into the oven and the entity take her body. But he was trapped inside the oven, burning to death. After the woman got killed, the remaining of the entity tried to gzt rid of the footage by throwing away... And dies.

I have one question and one theory, question is why the hell didn't they check for finger prints on the tape? and my theory is actually quiet logical, woman had killed someone and did this tape as a way to cover up her tracks to disappear and change her identity.

I mean idk but my theory about the height differences is that the body shrunk due to the vaporizing moisture inside the oven and inside of the victim's body. who removed the tape idk.

There is no answer, that’s the point. If there was an answer to all of this then it wouldn’t be interesting, nor would it be scary. That’s the point.
Maybe the victim is indeed the woman, but because of the heat she ended up deformed to the point she shrunk? Like how a hamburger that was perfectly round eventually becomes distorted as it fries.

Feel like your vids would get a lot more views with scary thumbnails, like if you just made the thumbnails super unique and scary looking where people feel inclined to want to know more. Trial and error it enough times and you'll find the perfect formula, because your content is already really good.
I think the counterpoint to this is that I intentionally avoid videos with clickbait thumbnails because I assume they're trying to waste my time and otherwise wouldn't be able to attract viewers based on the actual video content alone. I always prefer more mundane but honest thumbnails that seem like they accurately represent the video itself.

@@neo4552 That's the catch, somebody that just glances at the video thumbnail with no context might just make bad assumptions, given subjectivity and all. Personally for me the Fake People thumbnail is in a sort of danger territory where I might consider it clickbait and disregard it because a lot of clickbait videos also prominently feature over-the-top faces, but the video title is very neat and transparent and counteracts my cautious initial impression. Personally I prefer the Bathroom story video thumbnail because it's still catching without triggering my clickbait PTSD, and coincidentally it's also the video I found his channel through.

Personally i just saw it as one person making the recording, then another taking her out and hiding the evidence before doing the same to themselves. I think it was more coincidence than malicious, since outside of the oven theres no sign of struggle.

My theory with the ending is that the woman in the video may possible be a criminal unknow to the police or atleast did a crime and the police was investigeting and the women to avoid beint caught decide to faked a suicide so she and a aquintance film her entering the oven and then turn pause the camera and the woman get off the oven and put another woman they kidnapped in the oven and locked up so she couldnt escape and restart the film

There were two women. Both are either mentally ill, suicidal or both. The first one to go in is the one we see in the video. She dies, and the second one cleans up after, dumps the body or gets rid of it, throws the vhs tape down the well, and then does the same. She doesn't do anything to the camera, which is why it's still in the same position or angle as the recorded woman and as the police found it. She doesn't record herself and gets in the oven and dies the same.
