    A little side note: the background music is way too loud. I can't hear what you're saying.

    Hi 👋 Did you need to prep the stone or the pizza base with flour before putting into the oven? We just tried ours and the pizza base stuck to our pizza spatula so therefore it was shit.

      @shortiekd7431 Hi, I don't put any flour on stone as it just burns I just heated it up for around 20 mins, which gets it up to temperature then put pizza on I also rotate it as it seems to even out the cooking better. I know what you mean that sometimes the 1st one does come out a bit burnt at the bottom but after that it's okay. Also found that as its gas lower the heat to about half way as it can cook top too quick and burn that way. Have to just experiment with it to get best results. Fresh dough cooks very fast rather than the premade ones I used in the video. Cheers.

    I was looking at the difference between the two 13" models and the only difference is the thermometer. The one with it costs 30-40£ more. Ridiculous!

      @@UltiMatStokester Are you happy you got it with the thermometer or do you not use it? I am trying to decide whether to spend the extra money to get it with a thermometer 😊

      @mariaandersen3964 At the time, this was the only one available and had a discount, so I went with the thermometer one. When firing it up to get the stone nice and hot it takes about 20 minutes to reach just over 400 degrees then it's good to go for a couple of pizzas then wait about five minutes to get heat up again then go from there. If it starts to burn on top of pizza, just experiment with the heat control. I find keeping it just above halfway after reaching 400 keeps it running perfect. I suppose it is better with a thermometer, but if getting one without a thermometer, just heat for 20 mins to get to 400 as thats the maximum heat it ever seems to reach and stay anway. Cheers..

    Why would turn off the heat and spin the pizza the whole time? Let it bake bro. And your dough need some work its not fluffy enough

    • @UltiMatStokester
      @UltiMatStokester  Рік тому +2

      Looks and tastes good to me. It's not a cake. Turn the pizza so it's cooked evenly as the heat is coming from the back and sides more. Don't turn heat off. You turn it down, or you burn the top as this is gas powered. Once it's reached around 400 degrees, it stays hot for ages. Give it a try for yourself. 👍🏻

      @@UltiMatStokester thatd because u use prebaked dough. Its meant to be baked on high temperatures not turn down the heat since when you put the pizza in the oven it will cool down. Try fresh dough napolitan stylr

    • @UltiMatStokester
      @UltiMatStokester  Рік тому +1

      @youtubeaccount7137 Have you used one of these gas pizza ovens as when you have preheated it to reach 400 degrees on full power which takes around 20 minutes if you don't turn the jets down to keep it at a stable 400 the gas jets at side and rear that heat oven will fire at full power making oven even hotter and will burn the top of the pizza in seconds or whatever you put into it. I turn it down to half heat power, which keeps it firing perfectly . You want it to cook nice and even. Well, that's the way this Pizza Oven works.

    • @youtubeaccount7137
      @youtubeaccount7137 Рік тому +3

      @@UltiMatStokester actually not, when your temp is lower then 400degreee and close to 300 degrees then your temp is too low. Thats the reason why napolitan pizzas are baked in higher temps like 450degrees is normal. The reason why your dough will burn is because you are using the wrong flower based dough. Tipo 00 flower can withstand higher temps before burning. The problem is not the heat but your dough. Use caputo flour and make it yourself so you use the full capacity of your oven. Otherwise it does not make sense a oven like this.

    Is that Frozen Pizza??? 🫡

    • @UltiMatStokester
      @UltiMatStokester  2 роки тому +1

      No, we used premade 12" Pizza bases from Lidl supermarket come in packs of 2 then put our own topping on them. I've tried frozen ones but thaw them out first and they cook great as cooking from frozen they go a bit of a soggy mess and take longer to cook.

      @ales7555 This ovens cooking at 400 degrees think that's hot enough. Preheat for 20 minutes gets the stone to temperature, so it cooks the bottom of the pizza. Can cook a nice steak on it aswell using a tray.

    i would like to give you my tomato base recipe.
    One can of peeled plum tomatoes
    4 table spoons tomato puree
    Half teaspoon ground cumin
    Half teaspoon of freshly ground fennel seeds
    A pinch of salt and chili
    1 heaped teaspoon sugar
    Liquidise the can of tomatoes and pour into the ingredients.
    Only use one soup spoon per small pizza
    I find this'll be the closest recipe that the Italians will not tell you.
    I got this from the husband who stole it from the Italian wife.
