Bio: Leonardo Torres was raised Catholic and left the church at age 18 after being threatened to be kicked out for asking questions about the bible concerning his grandfather's death. He identified as an Atheist for 12 years and spent that time actively arguing with street preachers, witnesses and anyone else who brought up religion. At age 30, he had a strong encounter with God that made him drop his Atheist title and he became a free follower of GOD which he calls, "The Great Spirit". Taking God seriously and following Him wherever He leads him, Leonardo started this UA-cam Channel reaction to music as a "Non-Christian" musician reviewing Christian music. Through the music and the stories he began to learn more about Christ and considers himself a Student of Christ. Whether that means "Christian" or not is yet to be determined, but this channel is like a lost and found for lost sheep, Leonardo's goal is to create a safe space where God can find those who are yearning for Him. Leonardo wants to remind followers of Christ to love one another as they were commanded. The main theme of this channel is "Spread Love", and that's what we do, we take the love that God has given to us and we spread it to those who need it.

I asked my church, "can we love like Jesus?" almost thinking it is too difficult. My 9 year old daughter raised her hand and said "daddy I can love like Jesus." In my wise adult mind I thought, "this is interesting" and I asked, "why do you say that?" Her response changed me forever. She said, "daddy I can love like Jesus because He lives in me." In that moment my daughter exposed my inability to comprehend the simplicity of the gospel.

Hi there my friend. I am from South Africa and I have been addicted to drugs since I was 23 and iam 41 today. I lost my children, my family rejected me, I lost trust and faith in God, I went to prison in and out. Iam a woman now that I God loves and adores. I prayed for 7 years for Christian ppl to come into my life and a place to stay and work, I wanted out, out of the streets, living in the underworld. And after 7 years my Father gave me everything I prayed for after 7 years. He loves us unconditionally and when you have the love of Christ, you will certainly feel the unconditional love for your neighour. Coming from a former Satanist, pagan and atheist. I have said the worst things to God... I used to identify as non-binary and pansexual. I was honestly running from God blaming him for everything from the people I lost and just overall feeling worthless because my birth parents were and probably still are heroin addicts, alcoholics, and smokers... Most the time too high and drunk to even be my parents (haven't had them in my life since I was five years old) I've been bullied to the point of trying to kill myself and scars from all the things I've done to my body. I've been running most almost all my childhood and teenage years... I'm 19 and I have more I could say but God kept running after me even when I went back and forth between faith and no Faith.... He chases after us... This last Sunday he answered my prayers and I mean all since I was a little girl... He said he'd be the father I always wanted and wished for.
When you feel like you aren't good enough... I know what it's like to not feel good enough and to feel worthless and to not have a point. I finally know mine and I know my worth now. I'm working on my jealousy and my hatred. This isn't easy I swear because I falter daily. Don't give up. (This is just a small portion of my testimony honestly...) God is so good, because I owe him for all the glory.... He chased after me and without him I wouldn't be where I'm at rn.

Grew up in a catholic/buddhist household (Mexican mom/Vietnamese father). Always went to christian churches with my best friends. Attending youth nights. Questioned myself a lot. I felt lost. Identified as agnostic. Recently went to church with my fiance after struggling with relationship issues. I felt so out of place. I didn’t know how to accept God and his love.. after that first time, something changed in me. I felt so ridiculous. I thought I was a hypocrite. But that’s not true. God loves me and always has. I regret it has taken me this long to truly follow him and accept him into my heart. He’s amazing. This song made me bawl at church this past Sunday. So powerful. God wants a Relationship with you! A relationship requires intimacy! You wouldn't have a deep relationship with your wife or husband without feeling them or touching them or being close etc. God's presence is tangible!!!
God hates the sin but loves the sinner. He does love them, but they have the choice to love him back. God doesn't force his love if you don't want it because he's a gentleman. But rest assured he does love everyone.

It just fascinates me how so many people, who dont live with God in their hearts, don't realize the amount of power and love you actually feel in Christianity. The overwhelming sensation of Jesus's presence in your life when you give Him all of you. My boyfriend once told me that nonbelievers, who has strayed from God for so long, start to cry when they feel that overwhelming power of the Lord for their first time. When they pray and worship with us in the church and see what we see for their first time.

Just because you stopped believing in Him, doesn't mean he stopped loving you. You are His child and he will always welcome you home with open arms if you choose to believe in Him again. He desperately wants that. Just as it is written, he would leave all others who believe just to chase after you because you matter so much. I don't mean to preach at you. That's just my small understanding of what I mean. I don't know your story, if you were hurt by the church, religion, or Christians in general. Or if something happened that made you ask why and you never got an answer. You have your own path and your own walk with and without God. I used to laugh at Christians before I became a believer. I was a drug user and drinker. Then I lost my job, most of my friends and family turned their back on me, I wanted to end my life. The only person who reached out to me was my sister, a strong believer in Christ, who invited me to her home, fed me and got me to read Psalm 51. That night God got a hold of my heart and said that He loves me and has been waiting for me. As I read that Psalm I wept 17 years of repressed tears as a substance abuser. A week later I accepted Christ into my heart. I've been clean and sober for over ten years. I've graduated from Bible College, found an amazing Christian woman and I am a father now, I've preached in a number of churches on my testimony, I've evangelized to others and shared the goodness of God. And life keeps getting better. A life in Christ is a life that is never dull, never boring but it will take you on the best journey of your life. Accept His word into your life today.

I literally cannot believe it’s been 8 months since I posted this comment. since then, i’ve allowed myself to reconnect with spirituality and began healing from the religious trauma I endured as a child. I am not a christian and I don’t think I ever will be again. some aspects of the bible are beautiful, like psalms and pretty much anything that jesus said, BUT there are a lot of contradictions that I simply cannot look past, not to mention that my morals don’t align with quite a few things christianity teaches. I am fascinated by religions, and I think the conviction and faith that people have is beautiful. i have spent a lot of time looking into catholicism, christianity, judaism, and islam, and the thing is, literally everyone is 100% sure they are correct, that they are worshiping the “right” god, regardless of which religion they are. I personally find it a bit pointless to argue over whos god is real and whos isn’t because no matter who is correct, we all came from the same one. I prefer to focus on loving people, sharing my experiences to hopefully help others, and just generally leave the world a better place than I found it. I do have a connection with spirit/universe/god or whatever you want to call it, and I really don’t feel a need to pin down their identity. i’m happy and content with where i’m at currently, so please don’t try to evangelize me :) I also think that my large emotional response came from the message of the song, the idea of someone loving me unconditionally, rather than a spiritual experience if that makes sense. still love the song tho 💗

I was “religious” for years, but it wasn’t until I wandered away from God, with a broken and angry heart, in the deepest pit of my life that I truly understood and felt the reckless love of my Savior. He left the 99 and lit up my shadows, kicked down my walls and climbed the mountains I was hiding behind, then carried me home. God is love!
Sheryl, God is never the problem, it's usually his fan club that create the confusion, the judgements, the hypocrisies, the difficulties. God is always good. Jesus never came here to start a religion, he just came to show us how to get home. You thought you were walking away, but he was walking right beside you.

I’m so glad I read this message. I went through the same journey. I was betrayed by so many people from church and I felt so deeply hurt. Even doubted my faith for a while. But recently, I’ve seen God trying to talk to me and I feel Him once again. He truly loves us and I know he’s coming after me. I am a completely different person than when I went to church 3 days a week. I feel more love and compassion for others. More empathy. When I was at church, I truly felt better than others. He did not died because we were worthy.
It sounds good but that's not what the bible says. We are not worthy, we do not deserve his love, forgiveness, life or anything good. In fact we deserve his wrath but the father poured ALL of his wrath in the Son, what we rightfully deserve was taken by the Son at the cross. The just dying for us the unjust.
The sinless God and man dying on our behalf.... All the perfect plan of salvation was accomplished because it was the plan that was established since before creation and all of it will be for the glory of the Son and his kingdom. We are partakers and coeirs but none of this plane went into effect because of any worth that can be found in any human being. We are ALL fallen, corrupt, God haters, wicked people and our hope is only found in Christ. Repentance, Forgiveness, new life, eternal hope

Jesus is love and He died a horrible death that we can't even begin to comprehend with our minds for all of us. Unfortunately we don't know who Jesus really is, and I'm talking about a lot of Christians who claim to be Christians that don't really have any idea who Jesus really is. The Roman Catholic Church is the largest cult in the world, and the great Roman Empire will fall once again. My precious mom decided to join the Catholic church in 1980 much to my dismay. We ended up living the last 9 years of her life together. She was an incredible woman of love and always stood by me through my life no matter what I did, and believe me I was a total mess. I lost her to Jesus 3 years ago on July 16, 2021, at the age of 94. I just turned 73 in February of this year, and on November 21, 2021 shortly after her passing I gave my life totally to Jesus and said Your will not mine. I was born again at 8 years old. The last year has been incredibly painful with so much testing and discipline, and I am so ready for God to release me out into the world to do what He has called me to do. I went to many masses with mom before a luncheon or dinner because she wanted me to and I respected her, totally bored and couldn't wait until it was over. I would tell her don't go to confession, don't pray to Mary, don't do the rosary, etc. She finally knew that what I was telling her about the Catholic church was true before she died. When you are born into Catholicism you have no idea what is being instilled in you and the evil that is involved. Almost all of it is such a lie from the pits of hell. But God has and is getting a hold of many people like you realizing that all it is total religious hypocrisy. I encourage anyone reading this if you are Catholic please get out now and repent while there is still time. Onward in my Sweet Jesus Name!!!

I've never heard this song until now. I follow Jesus, because he chased after me until I gave up. But I honestly hate most worship songs and the church culture... Growing up in the church can show you the darkest parts of people.
I'm blown away by how this song writes so well as to how God chases us. I was the 1 out of 99... I still am today with the people in my life. And he always comes back for me, and I always feel him watching over me. And I know, if I get lost, he's ok with losing those 99... for me. Because he made it abundantly clear when I first felt his pursuit.
