This is a guided walk around the Loch Garten RSPB centre and the Abernethy National Parks paths in the search of some of the bird life that resides there..

Like a comforting hot chocolate. Like home! Walking those paths since my early teens, it's good around the RSPB Lodge, possibility of Caper, had two females there last Autumn. Just loved that, great you connected with a Crestie. I NEED to be there! Awesome dude, Si.

Hi Jp , just to say this is my favourite RSPB reserve I love visiting here whenever we get the chance, it always has helpful staff on hand at the visitor centre. It is a wonferful old woodland with so much going on, however like you found out you can hear the little birds but they manage to hide well in those tees. I am pleased you got to see the little C T they are super cute , on one trip I saw one on the tree feeder near the loos, it was really cute and very exciting to see. I didn't recognise you at first without your hat :-) Great video of a fantastic place. We visited a couple of years ago and I managed one shot of the Crested - cracking bird. Good luck with the Crossbills mate. Stay safe and have fun.

Plan to go in 2005 January hoping they’ll come down to feed us more readily at that time of the year. Thanks it’s a good insight in what to expect. 👍
