Alex still would have won. It would have been a tie between Freddie and Dan for second 'cause 8/3 is 2.67, where as 9/3 is 3. Alex would have had 1 more than Dan either way.

Voting system is stupid. Why wouldn’t everyone just give the others 1 star to help their average in comparison? What they should do on the last round is give them each a set amount of total stars they have to allocate as they choose.
it also would be interesting if it was the players who got blocked were the ones to vote
i think thats why they changed it this year to instead rank people, as there's less chance for tactical voting.

The thing is Kate/Alex didn’t trick everyone though everyone knew that Kate wasn’t real , she only won as everyone thought she wouldn’t be voted high so they voted her high

Fully think he fell for her and forgot all about the game, so he was embarrassed more than anything
The Circle producers did Dan dirty by just showing him everyone's thought process when it came to Dan's ratings. If Dan saw how everyone rated each other he would have seen that Alex assumed everyone was just going to give all the other players 1 star. By allotting 2 stars to Dan, he really did up the average with that mindset. That's why Alex is so surprised when people were dishing him 2 stars, like woah, they really went for it with those high ratings

It’s not a catfishing show, it’s point was both to show that people can be fake, and that real people can get hurt, which it did pretty well I felt
Conn Moss it's not obvious otherwise he wouldn't have won but Dan is a melt
George I do agree with you but my problem with Dan is that what Sian described, he was naive. Believing everyone was exactly who they said they were and especially Kate, who it seemed like everyone else suspected of being a catfish, except Dan.
@@lukeklein5529 i agree. people made it clear that she was a catfish (even mairead who was one herself lol), yet he chose not to believe it and continue rating 'her' highly. i think he genuinely thought that yes she was going to be a catfish, but would be a slightly less attractive woman.
I would have voted 1 star for everyone as I would have assumed they'd do the same.

Unfortunately even if Kate/Alex gave him 5 stars Dan would have still just lost, however it must be gut wrenching for Alex to see that if he had just given Dan 5 stars he not only would have still won but given just that bit more compensation to someone like Dan

"Friends" who are on a game show where they can only judge each other based on their social media profile and text messages for a grand prize of 50k. This took place in the span of 3 weeks. They let them know that there's a huge possibility of being catfished. Dan was just an idiot.

Show is good, but needs some polishing. If there aren't stupidly naive people like Dan, there would be no winner.
the rating system was better this year as you had to rank people from first to last, so less chance of tactical voting.
