The fans love him and are just happy to talk to him. This is not so easy. I think they may ask question they know the answer because they follow him. I think this is just to make small talks with him, just to create a connexion.
Great to see the excitement on the faces of the fans as they get a once in a lifetime opportunity to ask Rafa a question...and of course Rafa engaging in his customary, excellent and humble way - a truly inspiring, iconic sportsman and gentleman.
The first tennis match I ever watched was Wimbledon 2017 finals, and I instantly became Rafa's fan. It's been a roller coaster ride as a Rafa fan ever since
This was such a great opportunity for the fans to get a chance to talk to their favorite tennis players! I know Vienna Open did the same thing via Instagram. I hope more tournaments do the same thing.
If Nadal doesn't play in ATP London tournament and Australian Open in January I will be mad at him.I want him to win ATP tournament in London which is like ICC Champions Trophy in cricket and Champions Trophy in field hockey.
As long as he doesn’t get hurt he will play both. I am quite worried for London though. This seems like his best chance and his performance at Paris was great but didn’t seem like a high enough level to win the ATP Finals. Then again, he came back after Rome and won RG easily and I’ve learned never to stop believing in him so let’s see what he can do.
He said that he can't play very well right handed. He started playing tennis both shots with both hands when he was like 4yo, not strong enough to play forehand with one hand only. Then he naturally became left handed in tennis altough he's right handed in most of the other things.

Nadal's forehand shots are very good. But I notice that his backhand shots appear to be the shots that most opponents have more difficulty dealing with. In the last French open 2020, Djokovic had difficulty with the high back hand shots going to his backhand. He tried unsuccessfully dealing with it by playing drop shots. I later found a commentary by Boris Becky, Djokovic's former coach, at the Wimbledon 2018 Finals. ua-cam.com/video/V96sSCV03ng/v-deo.html 7:15 Boris Becker - "About how to playing Nadal, its difficult - of course you wanna avoid the forehand but then again you wanna also win the point. And you have to open up the court through the forehand, we found out, and then to get to the backhand. Now that's easier said than done, because if you a little bit short and not enough power, Nadal's gonna punish you with his forehand ". All shots are important and necessary to achieve success on tour.
I actually think these questions are way better than the one people ask on press conference, lol the guy who did the intro was right lol
So true
That "what's your favorite shot" question is pretty lame and predictable actually 🤭
True

His forehand is unbileebible to be fair
You forgot the no at the end
Love You Rafa, Thank You Roland Garros for bringing this gem, but next time ping me, I too wanna be in the chat 😋😄
I kept smiling during this video, what an athlete !
The number of times Rafa says "No" in this video is still less than the number of matches he has won at RG 😁😁
Hahah you are so funny man

Tennis really gets you one-sided. Apparently Rafa's left eyebrow is even stronger than his left arm

@@SJ-di5zu It solely depends on the players in his group. I think Rafa will perform well.
I wonder what was Rafa’s most satisfying win in his career. What do you guys think
Probably winning Australian Open for the first time and winning French Open for the first time in his life.
@@alibabar864 it still baffles me that he didn’t win that many AO titles. Probably the most memorable ones for sure
I'd say Wimby '08 final..
I think he listed his five favorites once. I believe they were Wimbledon 08, USO 2013, RG 05, AO 2009, and RG 2017
RG 2020, for obvious reasons.
Rafa big Hero
Please include me in the next chat,i am from the beautiful Philippines
