Y’know, I had a thought a while ago that maybe Dark Sun isn’t actually from an alternate dimension. Frankly i take just about everything he says with a grain of salt; we’ve all seen how good of an actor he is and how casual of a liar. But he’s always insisting that everyone just call him ‘Sun,’ so I thought; ‘What if that’s the one purely true thing about him?’
What if Dark Sun really is just Sun? *Our* Sun. Just from a possible future.
I mean, time travel isn’t too much of stretch from dimensional travel.
I have this theory too. That Dark Sun is just the same as Sun, but from the longer future

I've had a running theory for a while now that dark Sun is from a future timeline of our prime dimension.
He knew too much about the events before they would happen, he just wanted to observe.
He only tells parcial truths to make others draw wrong conclusions: as in the situation where his moon was alive, which i'm now suspecting was a variation of Nexus.
He also made sure to leave First Moons backup chip for monty to find, and seemed nearly glad (in his sociopathic way) to see Moon and Sun together. (Considering he is said to hate moons, i'm really not so sure).
Hes just ouright lied straight to Nexus about finding the shards, redirecting Nexus away from the prospect that Sun and dark Suns codes may be similar, considering he found ruins wither shard before Sun and Moon.
These are just small parts i've collected so far, whats anyone elses take?

I think Dark Sun may be planning to feed Nexus to his wither storm. He mentioned that someone is gonna die, but it’s not Sun, Moon, or anyone from that dimension or anyone they know; nor is it Ruin, so Nexus is the only other option. Unless it’s Creator, which would be great tbh lol
Question, are you saying that Dark Sun is from OUR dimension just from the future, or from a split dimension that was set more forward in time (aka maybe a different event happened and made the split dimension)?

I can see this theory actually being a thing!
So I have this little mini theory that has been in the back of my head for a little while but now I think it might be a little right with what •Sun• said:
So basically, everything •Sun• has been doing, going around and popping up randomly and talking to Lunar and Earth for example, hasn’t affected Sun in any negative way, and is actually a tip or a push in some way to get them to do something, a suggestion. The only time we see •Sun• directly interact with Sun is when he called him naive. This is also when Moon accuses •Sun• of trying to control/puppeteer what is going to happen to them, to which •Sun• states that it is not what he is doing. My theory is that •Sun• has seen different timelines of different dimensions, watching as different Suns die or have horrid fates. He might have seen Sun’s dimension, and how Sun has somehow managed to dodge severely worse outcomes for him. Like how if Solar hadn’t died, Sun would have been pushed away. Or, if Sun hadn’t killed Bloodmoon, the world would be in shambles. Maybe, •Sun• was surprised by the fact that Sun was managing to change the outcomes of his dimension. I think •Sun• doesn’t really want to puppeteer, but as he said, help Sun get to the best possible ending for his dimension as possible, acting as a sort of guide in a way. Removing Nexus allowed Sun to not only to have closure with Moon, but also gain a better and closer relationship with Solar (once he came back) and the rest of the family. •Sun• was genuinely giving Sun and Moon a warning when he said to prepare to fight something like the machine Ruin made: Nexus. •Sun• is trying to get Sun to the best possible ending in his dimension without loosing his mind or dying because he doesn’t want to see another Sun go to waste because of a Moon or another entity, just as he has seen and just as it happened to him.
Anyways, that’s the end of my ramble, and if you’ve read this please tell me what you think because I genuinely want to know if this is a possibility or not. Thank you!!!

I wouldn’t know how the wither storm would help Sun so that’s kind of a hole in the theory. Thank you though!!
That sounds very plausible actually and makes sense but the question is why does he want Sun to have the best possible outcome he’s already shown hatred towards him, is he just curious or does he want to see if it’s possible because it has never happened before, I also want to mention that Ruin has somehow been allowed to go and talk with Sun and Moon sort of trying to help them out, is •Sun• the one who lets him do it with precautions of course🤔
I don't know how to word my thoughts, quite right, but I will try
I think Dark Sun is, sorta like an overseer- like Puppet or Golden- but he's supposed to keep multiple dimensions in check. He plays a specific role, a fate centered one. That's why he still gets snippy over something he claims not to care about (the five thousand dimensions Ruin destroyed) and why he warned Puppet against putting that Negative Star Power in her original dimension- he knew what would happen and about many routes that were avoided that were much worse. This is also how he managed to alter his dimensional code. This is the real reason he ever wanted a star that could be used in multiple dimensions- because it just makes his job easier. However, all he really wants- as he has said numerous times- is to be left alone, but due to his job- he frequently has to run interference...
Which is why he wants to help Sun, why he guides him and says "what he is doing is for Sun"- because our Sun is capable of being the next one in his role. He wants Sun to get to that point, so he can finally rest. Maybe this is why Dark Sun wanted Nexus, but made it so Moon could be brought back- because Moon could help Sun reach his potential. Nexus hated magic- I'd say even moreso than Moon, and Sun needed magic to reach his potential.
I feel like FC was possibly an issue, possibly Dark Sun saw several routes where the Creator got hold of him and became a problem- but all that time ago when he told Foxy to make the right choice, that choice was to go with Puppet to that new dimension.
But that's just a theory.

Yeah Nexus it's similar to what Evil Eclipse felt. He moved bodies yet still wasn't enough to contain the POSITIVE star power. Negative Star energy seems to be the same. It's gonna fill the body all space that's free, fill it up. Even if the user gets a larger body, it'll spread out more and fill the gaps all over again. It's pointless to move bodies.

Nexus is literally in the palm of Dark Sun's hand now. I wouldn't be surprised if he foresaw this and let it happen so that he could gain more control over him.
If these two do end up taking over the channel this October, then Nexus is probably going to die around Halloween. Maybe he ends up helping the celestial family out of whatever future situation they get stuck in before his death.
Nexus finally got the karma he deserved for all the pain he brought to the others. And to be honest i didn't think dark sun really scared about him and probably is using him for something else aand i still think i am right. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the future.

@@moonrizer-qb5do Yeah, I feel like a lot of the stuff he’s done has been _literally_ to just keep himself alive - sure, he wiped out thousands of dimensions, but everything else he did was so he wouldn’t be killed. He’s not physically strong, he doesn’t have magic like Sun, and he doesn’t have access to technology in order to protect himself.
When he joined Blood Moon, it was because his options were literally just help him or be slaughtered. He wouldn’t have had the strength to defend himself so he didn’t have any option other than to agree to help - then manipulate the situation to get Earth there because he fully believed she could take him out. Now the same thing’s happened with Dark Sun and Nexus - his only option was to join them or die, and even then, he had to convince Dark Sun to let him join. He didn’t _want_ to help them on either occasion, but both times he got forced into a situation where it was that or die.
Before he joined Sun and Nexus, he didn’t want any part in _anything_ - he just wanted to live life without any drama, didn’t want to get involved anymore. He didn’t have a _choice_ in the matter. The others just never seem to consider it from his perspective.
It kind of reminds me how of a lot of people, when dying, call out for their mothers, even if their mothers are long gone. Sometimes in periods of significant emotional distress we'll seek out our closest comforts whether they're within our reach or not.
@@underfirebutok _Very true._ Especially because he seems to associate his home dimension with all of his friends who are now dead because of the Creator in his dimension. The others always see him as someone with no friends or family, no one he loves/who loves him, but they seem to either forget or ignore that everyone he has ever loved and cared about is dead - that he wasn’t always the way he is now, and that a large majority of everything they’ve seen him do was influenced by the death of literally _everyone he ever knew,_ at the hands of his Creator who turned his entire planet into one giant war-zone.

Okay but I loved this episode. I just aaahhh love Nexus and He’s such a sad and complicated character and it’s been so heartbreaking to watch him go on this character journey. And Sun! Goodness, props to Davis cus he is so threatening without raising his voice. (Also loved how he talked to the baby Wither Storm at the end like it was a grumpy kitty) And I about jumped out of my seat when he said this was all for Sun (our Sun)!! Is it some sort of time thing where he is our Sun but from a branching timeline, is it to get a Sun ally, is it to get his shard finding power? No clue, but I’m stoked to find out.

Edit: okay new theory. Sun (this one pulling all the strings) brings our Sun here, something something Nexus is getting warped, Moon is getting more threatening, and villain Sun says our Sun can control the dragon to get rid of anyone or anything trying to get too much power, especially Moon’s who ruin everything. He wants Sun to see himself as powerful and the only one that can make things right. Villain Sun feeds himself to the dragon (I dunno, infuses himself with the dimensional star I guess) and now our Sun has to make a choice about what to do with the dragon. (But that’s just a theory. A SUN THEORY)

i have been thinking do you think nexus will get corrupted by the negative star power or will he just slowly die because of said negative star power. this reminds me of what happened to eclipse when he got the star and the only thing i can think the difference between eclipse and nexus is that nexus is using negative star power though what is the same is both we're/are slowly dying.

I'm saying the differences in the appearance or audio. @@moonrizer-qb5do I hate Ruin for murdering Solar plus all the innocent individuals of all those dimensions he killed off. But he did leave that material for Solar and Moon to study to locate the pocket dimension. That's the level of betraying he was able to do. Yet I'm sure it won't be pretty when Nexus finds out Ruin left an item to get tracked so the pocket dimension will be exposed. Ruin can only hope that Solar and Moon will come save his ass before that punishment comes to happen. So I'm positive all Ruin can do is sit and wait.
Even though Ruin deleted all existence of the dimensional weapon he made doesn't mean it can't be recreated in a different way by someone else. If one person can imagine it, another can do the same thing. So it was pointless to delete those recorders because if another wanted to, they could make it in their own way. But I think the writers won't let that happen, even if that could solve Creator's problems. But like Dark Sun said, that brain will fuck himself over.

I am just thinking because of how time works differently in that dimension, if Dark Sun did it to safe Servant Sun from having to stay in a dying dimension for who knows how long.
