It’s always something with Shanny first it was Lenior in practice with a legal contact that cost us a draft pick, and then the injury report or thing with Jordan Mason now this
So who is the better coach, Kyle or McVay? McVay has a better record overall and 1 superbowl win and 1 superbowl loss. Besides the regular season success that Shanahan has had over McVay, Kyle has not gotten it done when it matters most. If someone was just to look at the stats and not know anything else who do you think they would pick?
Not saying you are wrong but the Rams didn’t have to play the chiefs. McKay has also had the better QBs and a first ballot fall off game defensive game wrecker. My beef with Kyle is his stubbornness and his propensity to not play players to be develop but I think he’s the better coach
You go for the in person experience, tailgating, etc. Also the Stick didn't suck, it wasn't the greatest stadium but it was closer and had character. The sound system at Levi's and wifi connections are terrible, and it takes forever to get there. Food and beer lines are way long and crazy expensive.
you need fans in a stadium to create a atmosphere don't you remember how crap all sports events were during Covid, you also connect with your team, when you see your team live,
Purdy walked off the field with the lead he sure did.....3 point leads. You won't beat Mahomes with field goals. Purdy didnt do enough when it mattered most. Call it like it is dont bs.
unless Kyle has an alternative motive for this "mistake". Unusual for such an experienced coach, who is very experienced in press meetings, possible, but the straight faced comment is frankly suspicious. nobody knows what is happening
IDK about this whole "beat the chiefs" discussion. I mean, it was an interesting discussion... but y'all leaning too far in the "it's not possible" direction. Last year's loss was a loss, granted, but KC absolutely did not come across as an unbeatable team. Tied in regulation with, what, half a dozen random crazy unlucky events that happened - all of which were game changers?
Kyle is not HC. He is the common denominator. Like Larry said, you are playing for nothing. Your season is over, and you are too scared to try 4th and one. Kyle coaches not to lose. Kyle snatches defeat from the jaws a victory every chance he gets
The problem with the Kubiak statement is that the Niners have a “preselection” now for OC. Preselections are why the Rooney Rule hasn’t worked, and they are why organizations don’t improve OR become more diverse. Why hold a hiring process when you’ve secretly “earmarked” the guy you want? “Just going through the process to check the block” is inefficiency at its best. If you aren’t truly considering each candidate you interview, then don’t waste your time interviewing them. The “promote from within” approach can absolutely have value, but it’s a double edged sword. You don’t get fresh blood and new ideas/approaches…which leads to the same institutional problems you already had. Run a FAIR and OPEN process…or have the balls to say we’ve picked our guy…. FINE US. Stop wasting peoples time with fake interviews.
Can we just say it? Huf is overrated, and dare I say... he was compared to Polamalu because of his hair and ethnicity. Beyond that, there is no way to compare the two.
Because he wants a HC position not a DC job. As for Kyle, you have no idea what you're talking about. Just another angry man spouting off because his team didn't win.
The Niners need to pay Brock fairly, but not to the extent that it hinders their ability to build a strong team. Let’s be realistic; this line will likely lead to Brock’s injury. If he were to miss the entire 2025 season and part of 2026, how would the Niners feel? What if Tanner Mordecai plays for Brock and excels? What would happen then? I sincerely hope that the Niners don’t overpay Brock.

The Tuesday shows with Raj are legit for sure. Keep the good going.
Larry, the person that wanted to ditch Brock for Darnold was your boy Grant!😂
Grant wouldn't know talent even if it bit him in the ass

They gotta get a policy/rules guy in there to advise, because it's obviously a problem
That was a good eye opening kyle posey article. I just happened to read it right before i watched this pod.
They didn't know the rules. They didn't know the ot rules for the SB

Trade for Sam and Trade Brock for three # 1's was a joke lol
Need a guy like J. Allen or a Carter to solidify the middle of the DLine and atleast two more OL positions to make things work.

You’re talking about Grant again. 😂
Great show
Cam Ward reminds me of Andre Ware
Secondary Coach from KC David Merritt would be a good start
Hey Larry can you look into Jonah Savaiinaea from Arizona. He looks so good at pass protecting
After this season stinking it up next year is unacceptable.
The chiefs would just give spags the same raise and make him ast head coach for them to block any move.
you need fans in a stadium to create a atmosphere don't you remember how crap all sports events were during Covid, you also connect with your team, when you see your team live,
49ers gotta get Zach Wilson for insurance at QB
No Raj! They’re not just one player away. No Miles Garret trade for #11 pick
If Robert Saleh would have stayed with the Niners, instead of taking a HC position with the Jets, the Niners would be similar to Reid and Spags.
Inncent mistake, no big deal on OC.
Purdy walked off the field with the lead he sure did.....3 point leads. You won't beat Mahomes with field goals. Purdy didnt do enough when it mattered most. Call it like it is dont bs.
Saleh is gonna stick it to Lyle again!!! Lyle is sloppy seconds!!!! LOL
Shanahan knowing the rules, when he chose Klay for OC?
Yea, sure. Like he knew the overtime rules in the Super Bowl.
They were able to promote Mike McDaniel in the past without doing an interview with others so maybe that’s why they didn’t think they had to

Hufunga on a renegotiation because Brown can't play he was fish out of water out there just running around nowhere near plays
Raj needs to learn how to say Robert's name correctly.... that's annoying
He also says pearsALL INSTEAD OF PEARsall 😂
@prin81 agreed 1000% 😎🤣

Kyle is a nepo baby

Raj coccimiglio!! Trade for burrows 🤣
Why stop there? Trade for Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson while you're at it. Maybe our first round picks for the next 20 years.
Huff is always hurt, move on.
I don’t know why yall think there making the playoffs next year
Just spit ballin' here. Because they would have this year if they hadn't led the league in injuries?
i told you Saleh wasn’t coming back, why would he! Kyle wears on people

Brock make very bad decision but ya praise him
