Man. At what age do you stop yearning for your childhood? Movies like these defined the best years of my life. Don’t know how I’m gonna top my youth, but I’m doing what I can to try.
This movie and theme always takes me back to when I was a kid. I still have my VHS with the keyhole, the key and the Little Bear figure that came with it too. Definitely a happy sad feeling.
Man this brings me memories, had this on VHS i think, heard the title come up in convo and decided to watch it again 20 years later... its unlocked something deep in my memory and man this song just takes me back. Went and downloaded this song off iTunes just a a memento of this movie. Obviously kid movie logic and I didn't think there was really any moral of the story other then "life is precious" and a hidden hint of "take care of what you have", and the kid's acting is definitely a little... lets say 90s. The music was pretty nice though and this song will always bring me back to my childhood.
Crazy that this melody popped into my mind the other day and I knew exactly what it was from. I haven’t seen this in years, definitely formative to me.
Love this movie from the story to its musical score to the actors amazing performance and I have to ask does anyone know the chant that was used when Omri goes to pick up some stuff for his dad and little bear wraps the old man I would greatly appreciate any help for that amazing and beautiful chants name or a link.
Columbia Pictures and Paramount Pictures present in association with Scholastic Entertainment A Kennedy/Marshall production of a Frank Oz film *The Indian in the Cupboard*
Cette musique me fait penser aux Indiens. Les vrais qui vivaient en Amérique. Ils fumaient du Petum. Pas ces cigarettes qui me tuent. Ils avaient 1 message. Ils ont eu raison. La vie aujourd'hui est😢. Pensée aux Peuples Indiens de l'époque. Ils étaient pacifiques. Leur histoire est 😢.

Even now bro
This theme gives me chills every time I hear it. Gives me that sad, but happy feeling of childhood nostalgia.
Such a majestic, poignant theme
One of the reasons I loved this movie growing up and still do. The soundtrack! ❤️
This song hits every. Single. Time. ❤
Michaelbolton acting like kid named omri was the best thing that happened last year spencer elliott lewis asking for the return of the Indian

Honestly the soundtrack is so much better than the movie. The movie is great but the music....So wonderfully epic...
