Like all “Istanbul Mehmet” cymbals, THESE cymbals sound fantastic! I have been playing "Istanbul" cymbals ("Istanbul Mehmet/Agop" and "Istanbul Mehmet") for almost 40 years! and I never looked back at the Swiss brand that I played before and whose “old” cymbals I still like.
Here my very own opinion:
The Ride is amazing but very/too close to my "22" Sarah Ride" so I prefer the "Sahra"! The 15" Hihats lack the "brilliance" and "sparkle" of my 14" Traditional Hihats!
The Crashes: the 20" Crash is a gem - I already fell in love with this cymbal bc it would be a nice mate for my "Sahra"Ride ; while the 18" Crash would make a good companion; it of course sounds great but is not on MY "to-buy-YET" list!
The 18" FX "Trash and the 10" Splash are already on my "adoption" list!!!
Leider habe ich euer Video gerade erst entdeckt und hatte noch keine Zeit, mit den netten und hilfsbereiten Leuten von „Istanbul Mehmet“ in Kontakt zu treten. Aus Erfahrung weiß ich, dass die Crew von Istanbul Mehmet sehr gerne Sonderwünsche erfüllt, wenn es um Sonderwünsche geht - einige meiner „Kinder“ wurden auf meinen Wunsch hin etwas größer angefertigt als angegeben!
Ich mag Becken in „ungeraden“ Größen (13" / 15" /17"/19" / 21"und habe diese unbekannten Becken bei der Fabrik „Istanbul Mehmet“ bestellt und Freunde haben sie direkt in der Fabrik abgeholt und ich wurde bisher noch nie enttäuscht!
Ich kann jedem Schlagzeuger nur empfehlen, ein paar € für den Flug zu investieren und selbst in der Fabrik vorbeizuschauen und sich dort selbst seine „Traumbecken“ auszusuchen! Sie sparen ganz einfach die paar „Dollar“, die Sie für den Flug bezahlen müssen, UND... ISTANBUL ist eine der schönsten Städte der Welt!!!
Hier meine sehr persönliche Meinung zu den IMC Cymbals:

Das 18" FX „Trash“ und das 10" Splash stehen bereits auf meiner „Adoptions“-Liste!!!
