- I paint the character I printed with a 3D printer with acrylic paint and position it on the olive tree.
I fill it with epoxy resin and shape it into an egg using a wood lathe.

That turned out really cool. I’m just discovering the resin world and the applications seem to just be left to the imagination.
I’m picturing a customized Easter egg set with some of my children’s favorite characters or things that represent moments in their lives, frozen in time with resin. Really cool.

Turned out really well. I made a night lamp and put way to much mica powder into the mix and when it cured you could not see what was inside the lamp lol but this with the yellow swirls came out perfect. Nice Love it

You should wait for the epoxy to gel for a while before giving effect to the mixture.
If you apply it with little gelation, the mixture will disperse.
However, if too much gelling occurs, it will be difficult to apply the effect and air bubbles will form.
After trying a few times you will find the appropriate gelling consistency.

bonjour , moi j ai toujours un souci avec mes prints peint avec de arcrylique quand immerge ds de la resine qui vient de chez epodex la pro max , la peinture se dissous suite a une reaction entre acrylique et la resine . j utilise la peinture en areographe comme createx ou vallego . comment ou quel peinture vous utilisé ?
Bonjour, j'ai le même problème.
Comme solution temporaire, je recouvre la surface deux fois avec une fine époxy après avoir peint les personnages. Après séchage, j'utilise les personnages dans mes œuvres.
J'expérimente toujours le problème de peinture des personnages.
Lorsque je trouverai une meilleure solution, je la partagerai avec vous.
