American Civil War mate - Rebs.
Concept submarine was created earlier than tank.
If I recall correctly, the first combat submarine to actually fight in a war was the H. L. Hunley, built by the Confederacy during the US Civil War. It turned out to be shockingly effective... at killing its own crew, that is. After failing several times during testing, it managed to sink a single Union ship, the USS Housatonic, before being lost for good with all hands on board. Its final kill count was 26 men, of which 5 were Union, 20 were Confederate, and one was the submarine's creator itself, a civilian marine engineer named Horace Lawson Hunley.

The Panzer 1 wasn't a Training tank the Training Version of the Panzer 1 was a Version that didn't had a turret so the Panzer 1 Was Actually a Battle tank
It didn't have a superstructure at all, actually; just lacking a turret would have still stuck the driver with his vision slit to see through, and for the trainees being able to see what they were doing so they didn't run over/into everything was more important. And it makes the tank look more innocuous to be entirely open with seats in the back for the instructor(s).
But the PzKpfW I actually was intended to be a training vehicle; unfortunately, the limitations of the German 'craftsman' system of mass production, where each worker in the assembly line had to have the skills to fill any position through the entire manufacturing process, meant that it was difficult to ramp up production quickly, and as a result the Heer had to use PzKpfW I and II to make up the quantity of tanks that their plans required at the start of the war.

Panther is good, but the tiger is terrible. IMO the best ww2 tank was the m4 then, the panther and at last, the tenk-34.

German is the engineer heaven and mechanic hell
They make big and heavy monstrosity which shoots hard, far and sharp, takes damage like - duh - a tank and moves as fast as any other tank. It also spends even more time than any other tank in maintenance depot. That is if it even gets there as it runs out of gasoline.
The Panzer I was not designed as a training tank however, seeing as there was literally a training tank variant of the Panzer I with only one machine gun. Guderian only referred to them as training tanks in his post-war memoirs.
Your commentary beginning around the 2:00 minute mark encapsulates the main reason for success: doctrine, (devolved) command structure, and learning the right lessons from WW1. The latter point is especially crucial as German tactics in WW1 were unquestionably superior to France and Britain (especially Britain). The allied victory led to both France and Britain (less so America) to draw the wrong conclusion that their tactics were successful. Germans noted correctly that operationally their tactics were sound, and simply improved upon them, to the point where they were fighting a completely different (and better) form of warfare. “Blitzkrieg” despite the meme, was really just an expansion of German WW1 doctrine.
Key point is that Germany’s real backbone of armored forces (in terms of matching allied and Soviet tanks), were its tank destroyers. Best example (and probably most widely used if I remember correctly) was the Model 38t frame with the turret removed, replaced with a much better gun mounted on the frame.
