@SPL okay thanks I shock my pool once a week with poollife turbo shock 1 bag seems to work well for my a little over 20'000 thousand gallons I have a liner pool I put it in the skimmer I've heard back and forth information about doing that way some say never do it and some say like you that it's perfectly safe
7 ppm for every 10 ppm of Free Chlorine. It can easily be offset by partial drains. Liquid chlorine adds salt which is the least factor in TDS. It all depends on your area and the water Hardness.
David or anyone should I add Baking Soda, Muriatic Acid, or Calcium first? My 20k PebbleTec has 7.9pH, 60ALK, and 200CH so my LSI is corrosive. Not sure what to do first. Thanks for any info. 😊
Extremely helpful and best explanation of different versions
love the channel, keep up the great content thankyou!
I have been using cal hypo 68% on my route. I buy the 50lb buckets $121 and supplement with tabs. Reminds me I need to grab more in the morning 😂
Glad to be of help! 😂
What would be recommended for a salt pool. I seen one that is an oxidizer?
Liquid chlorine when needed is best.
What about poollifes turbo shock David it claims to have 78% cal hypo 75% minimum it says
Thart is a pretty high level -the higher the % the more unstable. Use with caution but 78% would be stronger than the Leslie's stuff here.

@@SPLI also run my pump 24/7
hi david. using cal hypo shock while having trichlor tablets in the floater is ok? they won't explode?
No issues.
Isn't the downside for Cal Hypo that it increases water hardness levels? That's what I was told so I've been using liquid chlorine

Add calcium hardness increaser first.
